I have always used 5575 gold tip arrows and want to stay with the gold tips. .... but was thinking about switching over to the 3555 arrows. They are 2 grains lighter per inch than the 5575"s. thats 56 grains lighter for 28 inch arrows. Anyone done this switch. I was looking to pick up some arrow speed. I shoot a thunderbolt maxed at 70 pounds and it shoots 260 fps. I also use a 100 grain broadhead. Any ideas on what you guys think? Thanks in advance. JERRY

Thanks guys for all your responses. i think im gonna just stick with the 5575 for right now. i was just looking for a little more speed, but not much. im gonna look into them ultra lights 400 . Thanks again for all ur responses. oh and yes i would love to purchase the bow madness bow. very smooth.

varmit al's also has a link to a program called audacity. using this program u can make your own calling sequences. The program takes a little bit of getting used to and if you have any questions about how to use audacity check out youtube. A bunch of tutorials on youtube. Enjoy

Well just got back from east fork . Went with the my mom and dad and my kids. Got to meet scott adams at the bear wallow cafe. Wednesday and thursday we were hammered with rain. Fishing was a slow at luna and at east fork. Finally caught some nice trout at big lake using a weighted bober and fly. I forgot to get pics of big lake and the fish. enjoy the pics.

Plenty of camping areas but like bustedknuckleinc said get there early if you plan to go on a holiday weekend. Oh and i'll be there in about 4 hours setting up camp. beautiful place to camp except people can't read the speed limit sign(10 mph) and drive like jarkarses through there.

Have any of you guys made a homemade e-caller ? I just put one together and it sounds great. I'm in the process of making my own call sequence off of downloaded varmit sounds. I haven't tried it yet but the sound sounds better than the johny stewert caller we had. I can't take any credit for this cause i got the idea from another website on how to make them and download free sounds.. Anybody out there make there own?
