Went and checked on my camera today and found it on the ground . The moultries straps were both broke . Wanted to check the back of the tree for knife or animal chew marks, but there was a big storm coming in so I had to hurry. There were deer tracks everywhere so..... I hurried and ran back to my truck and got a small rope to put the camera back up and split before the storm hit. I think if anyone would have done this they would have just taken it instead of cutting the rope. What do you all think. The straps aren't all that thick but they were in good shape.

Hi Guys, I just purchased a 99 chevy silverado 6.0, 3/4 ton and i have my gas milage in the 12 to 13 miles per gallon range. My question is, will putting a flowmaster muffler on and finishing the duel exhaust, Putting a cold air intake, and using a power programmer add gas milage along with the throttle response. I'm really looking for a gain in gas milage. I knew what type of milage i was gonna get but i still want to increase my milage. A friend of mine said it helped his milage with a gain of 5-6 miles per gallon. What do you guys think????? Jerry

Gamehauler, I have a 1968 holiday rambler and it still has the propane refridgerator. Last year we got the pilot lit and 24 hours later we had an ice cold freezer. This year we tried it and let the pilot run for 24 hours and nothing. The fridge was not cool at all. I had a compressor and blew out some of the pipes and still nothing. Any ideas on what i could do to get it up and running. I don't know if it the original. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you Jerry

Well i finally got out and tried my new treestand. I read the instructions 6 months ago and everything wasn't fresh in my head. I also watched the video but i thought it wan't very informative. anyways i gave it try and it wasn't very easy for a first time user. I got the screw in steps and the body harness ready and away i went up the tree to about 6 feet. I set up the stand the best i could and going over everything for safety. I got it all set up and the kids gave me my bow so i could get a couple arrows off. Very comfortable and quiet. For a first time user it was extremely aukward. can't wait to get back to the mountains to give it another try.

Yes is does have an climbing belt. I just need to find my comfort zone with the belt. sometimes i felt i wanted it pretty loose and other times i wanted it tight while climbing. 15 minutes thats fast. how high do you guys put your stands????????? I was thinking to put my stand around 15 to 20 feet high.

I took out my kids and my two boxers(dogs) this weekend shed hunting and keeping the kids from the TV. What had me worried was the rattlesnakes biting my kids or the dogs. I wasn't too worried about the kids getting bit cause i had them behind me walking in my footsteps. but my dogs really never been out like that in the hills. MY QUESTION.......If one of the dogs gets bit does the dog need to be taken to a vet? a couple of friends of mine said the dog will be ok without seeing a vet, they'll just swell a little and get over it with time. I've been seeing all these great pics of hounds chasing cats and i thought it would be a great question with all the dog handlers around. Jerry
