What is the best all around binocular magnification?

I personally feel that if you like to spot then stalk the best magnification to use is 15x56. And a good tripod like a slik or manfrotto is a must. And when i take off on foot i like 10x42 on my chest. Hope this helps you -

My Step Dad got this odd looking buck yesterday after he passed him up for 2 to 3 days! Finally he decided to get a closer look and had to take him out of the heard. One weird looking Buck with a lot of character!

Today I bought 100 grain 2" Swhackers! I have never used them before and I was reluctant to buy them. Don't know if I made the right decision. Should I have gone with the G5 Montec's instead?
