I am looking for an AR500 gong that needs to hold up to a .338 Lapua, it probably needs to be 1/2" thick, would like 12-16" circle. Does anyone have a good place to buy one? They look like they vary a lot in price. Any good websites or stores that have them for a reasonable price? I would imagine they would cost a fortune to ship. Anyone have one they want to sell?

Not overly long. The camera angle is playing tricks on you. If the fronts don't have a lot of curl to them, they are usually not as long as you think. That bull probably has 14-16" fronts -

Yeah, like trophyhunter said, i'm about 6'5" and the bull in my avatar is a hair over 400". It took me 5 years to have that bull scored, because i REALLY don't care about numbers, and i feel like they can cloud the big picture of the hunt. The only reason i even responded to this thread is because you came off extremely arrogant (as i replied to you in one of the PM's you sent me) and to top it off, what you are publicly advertising would (in the right (or wrong) circumstance) get your hunting privileges revoked. -

i know a guy that does something very similar to this and gets tags almost every year it seems like. his deal is, he leaves his bow in camp for the first half of the hunt and becomes the guide -
what risks are involved in "rushing" this process? as long as you don't blast enough rounds back to back to overheat and shoot out the barrel, what risks are involved in not cleaning after every shot? i recently made a big purchase on a LR rifle. i shot about 10 rounds and cleaned it well. i'm on about shot 50 after the initial cleaning and my groups keep getting better every trip to the range (.3 MOA last trip)

More and more bench rest shooters are saying forget everything you've ever heard about barrel break in and bore cleaning. Just shoot it and let the barrel cool between groups. Clean it occasionally

You are probably referring to the bino pack made by FHF gear. People on the oudoor shows put vortex patches on them. They are great bino cases
