Bulls and cows communicate year round. That's all it is though. Not a sign of an "early rut" or anything of that matter

When 3 of the 5 guides at arizona desert outfitters (they specialize in bighorn hunts) draw sheep tags in the same year, one of them won the super raffle sheep tag just a couple years ago. Something smells really fishy about that

You burned 10 BP on Kaibab archery?

you drew 13a or 13b. the only way you could draw 7, 3rd choice is if it was a 100% draw, and it is not. How would it be known what the odds were for this draw? They wont post until next draw??? You can go off of last years odds but with 1000 tags he could have hit this year on 3rd choice??? Am I wrong? Not positive but its what I was understanding. It is possible, anything is possible dealing with AZGF.....not very though. they upped the tags from 875 to 1025. last year there were 3,051 1st and 2nd choice applicants. the hunt would have to have a 60% reduction in applications for that scenario to play out. since 2010 the unit has seen a steady, but slow rise in people applying for that tag. in the last five years, the lowest number of first and 2nd choice applications was 2,377. with that number, the unit would have seen it's best draw success rate, but still probably somewhere in the 40% range which would still make it mathematically impossible to draw with a 3rd choice. Impossible? No...Unlikely? yes. extremely

congrats. we will all expect a good story with a LOT of pictures

unfortunately it's not in Arizona, but i think most people on this site wouldn't mind seeing a wolf get killed, regardless of the location. http://vancouverisland.ctvnews.ca/mo...aign=editorial

it looks like they shoot imr 4350, per their website. pretty wild -
there is a husqvarna for sale in the classifieds for a good price right now. they are great saws and that one would make a good general purpose, and around-the-camp saw.

nice buck. how about a story on him to get us through this slow part of the season?

I have hunted 6A for less than an hour. Met a buddy opening morning in a random area, left camp, got a bull to bugle, called him into our laps in about 5 minutes. 310" Bull down less than an hour into opening morning

Aren't the big males usually almost black? The males are alone every time i've seen them and that one appears to be? I shot one a few years ago that probably weighed 30lbs. Had a pack attempt to ransack our camp one time. Didn't end well for them. They are nasty suckers to skin. -
For a guy that openly bashed trail cams and trail cam users for a long time, you sure seem to have a lot of interest and knowledge about them as of late?

Just got back from a stint of working in west virginia, and there are a lot of chiggers there. The locals (hillbillies) said they rub apple cider vinegar on the bites periodically. They never got me, but it's worth a shot?

That Buck is going to be big a lot bigger than 90

Hiding is the key. I've been running up to 10 cams at a time for 10-12 years now and never had one stolen, never locked one either. There is not any kind of a lockbox out there that will keep a thief from being a thief.
