"It" is getting an ESPY award for courage. "It" beat out a parapalegic war veteran for the award. Last year it was given to Michael Sam, the queer wannabe nfl player. Pat Tillman also won the same award some years ago. Lucky there wasn't some fruit cake up for the award when he won it

The Deadline is in... What did you put in for?
GreyGhost85 replied to DeerCraver's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
yes it does. as long as there is record of you taking it, no matter if it was last year or 50 years ago. you never lose the hunters ed point. you can also get a loyalty point for applying for the same species for 5 years in a row. you can only have 1 loyalty point and if you ever go a year without applying, you will lose it and it will take 5 years to get back -
2,148 people put in for one unit alone that had zero chance. last year there were 4 desert bighorn and 1 rocky tag that filled with max BP holders. somewhere in the ballpark of 7-10,000 applications thrown away. i love it

the first reply explained the hunter ed question. in colorado you MUST have a valid hunter ed card on hand and when applying for the draw. they honor hunter safety cards from most states.

basically if it's not a unit with 100% draw success, it is "statistically impossible" to draw on 3-5th choice. I only ever put in for 2 sometimes 3 choices -
I'm confused on who would kill a desert bighorn and just throw it in the freezer for 20 years? looks good though

Have you shot anything with one yet? Wondering how messy it is

I gotcha. I went with the 111LRH. Love the feeling of squeezing off a 300grn bullet. I imagine it will probably be pretty effective on a coues this fall

Big Browns, what model did/do you have? My first very light, experimental loads were MOA or slightly better. I was just blowing out some brass to order the correct neck bushing and get my resizing die set. I've got some 285 A-Max bullets to try out as well.

It's a great industry for young, fit kids looking for a job and an adventure. I've seen a lot of beautiful places and done some pretty cool stuff over the years. Never thought about recruiting guys on this site, but it makes a lot of sense with the tupe of people you find on here. Free bump! Pretty good company as well

Haha. I've worked in the industry a long time. Being afraid of heights is usually what gets guys two checks at the same time

I have only been applying for spring hunts for buffalo for the last several years. my question is, can you apply for fall AND spring buffalo hunts, and if so, do you get a bonus point each time you are not drawn for either? can you potentially get 2 BP a year? do you lose loyalty point if you only apply for spring or fall, not both?

What is the extended mag? Do you have to lengthen the magazine well, or is it drop in?
-
thanks. figured that would be an easy question for some people

last time i went through, i don't think it was. you need to make sure to get a permit for the side of the river you camp on (WM,SC)
