most modern calibers could be considered "barrel burners" that term came out when the first real fast, high performance cartridges started being produced, and yes, fast bullets=less barrel life. that term makes me cringe when i hear it. 7mm mag, 300 win, all the ultra mags, could all be considered barrel burners, but for some reason that term really stuck when people talk about a 6.5, especially the big ones like a .264, when in reality they are probably not much worse, if any than some of the others that people do not refer to as "barrel burners"

that's a good deal. does it have key start?

you can shop around and find pretty good ones new for around $50 each. i run a lot of trail cameras and they all tend to crap out after 2-3 years. i am always wary of buying them used. the sportsmans guide or amazon always beat out the prices in store.

wan't someone on here looking for a 28 gauge recently?

Mix your burger up with plenty of onions, breadcrumbs, whatever seasonings you like and manwich sauce. Throw it in a breadpan and put it in the oven for an hour or so. Pour more of the sauce over it, put lots of cheese on top and throw it back in for 10-15 minutes. Love venison meatloaf. I've even been making bear meatloaf lately and love it.

^^^ This no matter where you are there are horrible drivers everywhere.. On a side note they really need to ban texting and driving ASAP!! Also dont get me started on people driving in the carpool lane with out any passangers.. I take I-10 home at 3:30 pm and man people are jabroni's when it comes to that. How about the jabroni's who ride the yellow center lane to try and cut in at the very front ?? how about the guy that uses the word "jabroni" in his everyday life

I killed one of my biggest bucks by myself at 13 years old. Went on a lot of "drop you off here and pick you up over there" hunts on my own from about 11 years old and on. Soon as i got a driver's license (16), i hunted a lot on my own.

"It" is getting an ESPY award for courage. "It" beat out a parapalegic war veteran for the award. Last year it was given to Michael Sam, the queer wannabe nfl player. Pat Tillman also won the same award some years ago. Lucky there wasn't some fruit cake up for the award when he won it

The Deadline is in... What did you put in for?
GreyGhost85 replied to DeerCraver's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
yes it does. as long as there is record of you taking it, no matter if it was last year or 50 years ago. you never lose the hunters ed point. you can also get a loyalty point for applying for the same species for 5 years in a row. you can only have 1 loyalty point and if you ever go a year without applying, you will lose it and it will take 5 years to get back -
2,148 people put in for one unit alone that had zero chance. last year there were 4 desert bighorn and 1 rocky tag that filled with max BP holders. somewhere in the ballpark of 7-10,000 applications thrown away. i love it

the first reply explained the hunter ed question. in colorado you MUST have a valid hunter ed card on hand and when applying for the draw. they honor hunter safety cards from most states.

basically if it's not a unit with 100% draw success, it is "statistically impossible" to draw on 3-5th choice. I only ever put in for 2 sometimes 3 choices -
I'm confused on who would kill a desert bighorn and just throw it in the freezer for 20 years? looks good though
