I might be corrected but i think you’ll have a hard time finding a “riding” donkey. Pretty much everyone that has a big donkey (usually a Mammoth Jack) uses them pretty much strictly for making mules. If you’re not 100% sold on a donkey, you’d probably have a lot better luck riding a mule and packing the asses.

Bring it on. If I didn't have one ounce of meat in my freezer and there was not one hamburger patty in the grocery stores I still wouldn't be concerned about being able to get meat.

Throw it inside a big duffle bag. That's how I flew my 5200 to Kodiak Island. You can also stuff a lot of clothes and things inside the duffle bag around it. Actually, all 6 of us on the trip did the same thing without issue.

I used to have one of those and hated it. It took quite a while to get it all adjusted every time i wanted to take pics. Seems like by the time i had it set up the animals were always gone or had moved. I’ve used a phone skope for several years and it works good enough.

Get ahold of Steve Edwards out of Queen Valley Mule Ranch. Probably one of the best sources for mule tack there is. Makes a lot specific tack just for mules.

A mandatory wait would definitely help. I wish they’d go 10 years of applying for bighorn and rifle antelope before you are considered for the draw.
