    New Sig Cross rifle

The only one that is interesting to me is the .277 fury.

    Vacuum sealer options

This is a new company making processing equipment that is supposed to be top notch and reasonably priced. Their chamber sealer is tempting https://www.meatyourmaker.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwvIT5BRCqARIsAAwwD-QXVyMO0Kvaq9nx2I6IOLZUqDV5L7djWfFnL2qxRLstGnesxGbD69EaAo9rEALw_wcB

    Vacuum sealer options

I started wrapping mine in cellophane before putting it in a vacuum sealer probably 5 years ago and it seems to help. It also makes the sealing a process a little easier because it tends to hold some of the blood in and you don’t worry about it getting into the seal. Freezer bags always get little pinholes in them from clanking around on eachother in thr freezer and the cellophane is just another layer of protection when that happens.

    Dear Arizona Game & Fish,

There are people in AZ who apply 10+ people a year and have for some time. Doesn’t take very long, especially with point guard, to get to a spot where you draw primo tags every single year by piggy backing. I personally hate point guard and it is abused by a LOT of people. People should be able to turn tags in for emergencies but their reasoning should be reviewed.

    New Sig Cross rifle

They have my interest as well. Can’t get your hands on one though. Sounds like they are being pushed out to 2021 sometime with the whole covid BS.

Don't laugh but does anyone have....

i'll trade you my 24bp's for your rifle tag and you can turn them into 2 or 3 archery tags. Deal?

ISO WTB 17 HORNET, 17 REMINGTON OR FIREBALL

I’ve got a 17 rem fireball. If you’re looking for a rifle in one of the three mentioned, i would steer away from it. I love it but ammo is tough to find and a PITA to reload. 17 hornet would probably be your best bet currently.

    Albino

That is clearly a two year old leucistic not a 3 year old "leuistic".

    Favorite Elk Broadheads

yes, i spent a lot of time sharpening them. the ones i used were the old "carbon steel" model. They were supposed to be sharper and easier to put an edge on. I do have a problem with spending that much on broadheads that you have to spend hours honing.

    Favorite Elk Broadheads

after some tuning you can get them to fly pretty good. they aren't a broadhead you can just spin on and shoot. It was hard to believe my eyes watching a bull with an arrow straight through the 12 ring lay in a meadow for almost two hours, then get up and jump a fence. his lungs had holes straight through them but nearly zero internal blood. his chest cavity filled up with air and the shot that finally put him down (spine) deflated him like a balloon. it was strange. he looked like a bloated bull that had been dead for a week.

    Favorite Elk Broadheads

I shot a bull with Montec broadheads and it went south in a hurry. Absolute pinwheel double lung complete pass through on the first shot. It was 3 hours, 3 more arrows and a mile later that i got him down. Penetration is not the problem, not cutting as they penetrate is. Slick tricks ever since then for me.

    Lucky tag holders new rifle?

I’m having the exact rifle built on a pre-64 action right now and it’s gonna cost a lot more than that! Great deal on an extremely under appreciated cartridge.

    Using 2 doublers on 15's

i've looked through doublers and they do suck. can't imagine how bad one on each eye would be.

    Unit 1 Turkeys

If you want to work for it and not get roasted, drive to the unit, put some boots on and walk around. Lots of turkeys and lots of country in unit 1. South of highway 60, west of NM line, north of highway 180 and east of the rez border is a good place to start

    Winchester model 70 sold

That’s a pretty gun. If it had a maple stock, i’d buy it. Shouldn’t last long either way with that price

bars, gyms, theaters , tubing ect

Just talked to another very close friend this morning that has it. 32 and healthy. He said the first few days were kinda rough but nothing crazy. Lots of fatigue, coughing and short on breath. Said it's not much worse than the flu or a chest cold.

bars, gyms, theaters , tubing ect

I don't know what to think of it anymore. i know a couple people that have had it. one was older (60's) and it didn't do much. the other was a friend that is is in his late 30's, strong and fit and it hit him pretty hard. I'm starting a job at a hospital in Yuma and met with their director last week and he said it is really bad in Yuma. hospitals are all full and a lot of people dying. Another friend is a nurse at St. Joe's and she said the hospital is full of covid patients and a lot of them are in really bad shape. I'm going to continue living my life but it seems worse than the flu. I'm no doctor but i don't think wearing a mask is going to help anything but if it does, it's nothing more than a small inconvenience. I'm as sick of this BS as anyone else. Been working from home since early March and it's really gettin old but I am happy i'm still employed, unlike a lot of people.

    Glassing chair for big dudes

That is a good price. I think I paid around $80 for mine a couple years ago.

    Glassing chair for big dudes

as far as stools go, the Walkstool is by far the best i've used. they are under 2lbs and hold a lot of weight. There are photos of the being used as jackstands under cars. They also collapse down so they fit in a pack really well. i'm 6'4" 230lbs and they feel like they could hold three of me.

If we get a good monsoon and it greens up, they’ll be back in it this year

    Bull Elk Tag Transfer

I’m dumb and old? I’m 34 bruh. Most people are working a “job” when they’re 19, not a career. If my “Job” not “career” would not let me take time off, i’d find a new one.

    Bull Elk Tag Transfer

It sounds harsh, but you’re 19 and most likely not in your career position. Quit your job and hunt both seasons. Find a new job when you’re done. I would if i was your age.
