IMO the best spotting scope for the money. Sold mine recently and REALLY regret it.

Is this safe to eat?
GreyGhost85 replied to rpowell600's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Would cooking them not “kill” whatever they’re packin? Nearly every bear packs trichinosis. I hope that doesn’t discourage people from eating them. I just got done eating backstraps off a buck who’s liver looked WAY worse than that -
Holy cow. Shame both sides didn’t match. Huge buck. Congrats

I am looking to purchase one of these but cannot decide on which one. Does anyone have any experience with both? I am not real worried about the actual rangefinder capabilities as i am ease of use and accuracy with the ballistic program. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Packing in the big glass ever a bad idea??
GreyGhost85 replied to Hatchet Jack's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
It’s awkward for me to use because of the angle. I don’t feel like i find any animals that i wouldn’t have found with 15’s and i miss having a big 70x zoom spotter. They’re cool and all, i just don’t think it’s for me. -

I bought the BTX about 4 months ago and am not thrilled with it to be honest. I’ll be packing it this hunting season but most likely selling after. I think 15’s and a spotter is the ticket. I might change my mind after a full season of use but i really doubt it. -
Seeker, i’m calling bullshit.

They deliver a lot of that pipe. might be worth giving them a call to see how much they'd charge to do so. i think it comes in 40' sticks

Bonanza Steel in Queen Creek sells it. They’ve always got a boatload of it

I’ve got some amd could spare one. Ordered some on Amazon for like $10 delivered. Probably the easiest thing to do if you need it soon. Or a $0.50 helicoil from a hardware store works good https://www.amazon.com/Standard-Adapter-Converter-Camcorder-Ballhead/dp/B07567PHSZ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=3%2F8+to+1%2F4+adapter+tripod&qid=1570753456&sprefix=3%2F8+to+1%2F4+adapter+t&sr=8-3

Seeker, you can’t say you shot a 430 bull and avoid everyone asking for pictures. Was it a gay elk?

That’s PRDATR for ya. Spewing negativity. Haven’t seen him show his face since he said we deserved the 9/11 attacks. Go back to your cave now

Can we talk about Bob’s “wiener dog” post? I don’t feel like it got enough credit

Look like ivory to me
-
don't have facebook but guarantee it is some a$$Hole that is probably trying to push the game onto a separate water source that they want to hunt
-
Funniest thing i’ve ever heard you say BOB! Lol
