I’ve got a pair of used zeiss conquest 15x56 that i’m about to post for sale also. Shoot me a PM if he’s interested

I glassed a good sized bear that was in the top of a juniper tree in a thicket last year. I watched it for probably a half hour and almost shot it. Finally saw that it has 2 cubs under tree eating the berries it was shaking out. Definitely changed my perspective. On open ground i’m pretty good at identifying a boar/sow. If i get any clue that it might be a sow, i won’t shoot it.

Those are very comparably with kaibabs but half the price. Someone who wants 15’s on a budget needs to hop on these

Bit the bullet a couple weeks ago and bought a BTX with 85mm objective. i always run a Manfrotto 700RC2 head on a carbon fiber tripod but it seems like it is not quite enough. What are ya'll running with the BTX? i have a big, heavy tripod with a Manfrotto 128RC that seems to wok pretty well but it is a bear to pack. I am also guessing that a glassing stool/chair is pretty much a must, which will take a lot to get used to. I've tried several times to use a stool and can't get used to it. I feel a lot more sturdy sitting on the ground.

I am all about supporting local companies but that price is ridiculous. Especially when manfrotto heads are every bit as good for around 20% of the price. I would gladly pay a little more for a local product but 500% more?

What year was this rifle made? Any photos?

I am not positive but i think the season is august 15th through august 14th.

I don’t think any of the 2018 elk super tags got filled. 3 to go

Short, skinny rope like tail, gigantic ears and a mule deer rack. Mule deer are not always forked in the front and back. Coues are not always 3-points. You asked if it was a mule deer or coues. We all told you a mule deer but you keep questioning us.

I really hope you don’t eat beef

I ended up going with a manfrotto mhxpro 2 way. Has a fluid adjustment which is nice for balancing the back heavy btx, isn’t overly heavy and uses standard manfrotto plates which is a plus because i have about a dozen of them.

Definitely a hybrid. It is impossible for a mule deer to have 3 points on either antler.
-
100% muley. Nothing that says coues
-
Congrats. Prepare to be bit by the coues bug like the rest of us

Come on man, don’t get your hackles up. We all know the trick. Just look at rut n hard instagram. You’ll learn all about it

Probably the way you held your phone at a downward angle when you took pictures of pictures to make them look bigger. Why not just upload the originals?

Is it just me, or do all those bulls have extremely short legs?

SEEKER, what was the gender of the gay cat? How were you able to identify that it was actually gay? From what i make of it, the gay cat killed the elk and he killed the gay cat. The G&F confiscated both the gay cat and the elk?

I bought a pair of Crispi summit GTX about 3 years ago. They are comfortable but don’t give me the ankle support i like. I told myself i would wear them out before i bought another pair of boots and they are FINALLY worn out enough that i can justify a new pair. Went to ross and tried on all their boots. Crispi doesn’t make a pair that is stiff enough for my liking. The Kenetrek boots were my favorite but still not quite stiff enough. I like my hunting boots to feel almost like ski boots (bad ankles and 6’5” 230lbs is tough to support) I am pretty much sold on Zamberlan 2092’s but i can’t try them on anywhere. Does anyone run Zamberlan? Do they fit true to size? Just looking for a little input before i drop $450 on them. Thanks for the help in advance.

My tag showed up at my GF’s parent’s address about 60 miles from me with their address on the tag. I have no idea how that would happen. I didn’t even know their address until today. So confused

310+-5” is my guess. These bulls are all about 350-370 just for comparison

Remington .221 Fireball
GreyGhost85 replied to Couestracker's topic in Handgun Hunting for Coues Deer
Cool gun but i would definitely not hunt coues with it -
Those black rattlers are vicious. Most aggressive snakes i’ve ever been around

Wonder why they aren’t interested in salt this year. Has to do with the abundance of moisture. 2 of my salt licks get absolutely destroyed year round and one of those literally had spider webs in it when i checked last weekens

You sure that’s a vx3 5-30?
