I heard one guy had to saw the rack of his 4B bull into pieces just to get it out of the woods and into the bed of his truck
-
Congrats on a nice old bull. Not to throw salt in your wounds, but the one that got away is a real gagger!
-
Holy cow. That first buck is really something

Is there an easy way to clean and skin squirrels?
GreyGhost85 replied to PRDATR's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Steve Rinella has a good video on youtube about it https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FtspCxIfWuI -
Uh-oh. Nothin like a good, bad taxidermist thread. Hope it works out for ya man.

Could have been a nasty, rotten mess when they found it. Didn't want to pack the whole thing.

Drive a big lag into a stud. Do not attempt to hang it on a drywall anchor.

Adrian Peterson. Your beloved Vikings

big desert buck for sure but not 200". 175-185" is my guess
-
aw, it hurls insults into the ether...how manly...quien es mas macho, Desertwhitetail or Pat? Well, apparently tagging wounded bulls applies to "opportunities made". Sorry to break the bad news but pulling a shady move on a big bull is one thing, doing it on a raghorn is a whole new story. Sounds like the original guy made out better in the long run.

Well, then myself and every other person on this forum must be blind and dumb.

In the picture, is the arrow going through the antler? Yes or no
-
That arrow is not laying on the antler. It is OBVIOUSLY going through the antler.

He didn't sue the manufacturer? Must have mixed it up. I guess he sued the distributor? Sportsmans guide brand if i do recall
-
Ol Kevin Wuerfele. Thinks he is a guide but isn't. Been bending game laws for years. fell out of a treestand years ago and sued the manufacturer for a good amount of money.

Call the local outfitters. Trophy outfitters, hunthard, premium hunts, emerald extreme, gastineau outfitters. All of them have access to pack mules. If that fails, open up a tab at the local bar and start buying people beers until someone bites
-
Freighter frame is probably what you want. Hard to beat for straight meat packin. You can find them new for less than $100
-
Initial score puts him well over the current WR. The velvet will have to be stripped, which i think they are going to do. Going to be difficult for the officials to determine the exact typical frame as this will determine where the mass measurements are which will have a big impact on the score. Unbelievable buck. Wes worked harder at killing this buck than most would, even knowing his size.

How do you tell if a barrel has been shot out?
GreyGhost85 replied to Rock30golf's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
If you don't have AT LEAST 500 rounds through it and have treated it good without overheating it, it probably is not the barrel. The few barrels i have seen that were shot out went through a pretty gradual change in group size. Never seen one open up to 12" groups though. Did it shoot good previously? -
As with most hunts in AZ, the 2nd half is usually better. People clear out, weather cools off and the rut usually intensifies. Keep at it! Good luck
-
Did you buy point guard? If you're at max, use it and try again next year?
-
The "void" is real. I was skeptical for years until I witnessed it. One of my best friends hit a giant buck (210"+ south of the ditch). Looked for days. Gave me the whole "hit him in the void" story. Didn't buy it. The next year i saw the same buck in the same place with a scar pretty tight to the shoulder and just below the spine. Not too many 34-36" wide bucks in that area. For sure the same one

No, this is redneck sh!t

Really? Smh
