    Zeiss scope repair

Did you pull it out of the rings and look? Sometimes impacts will crush the tube inside the rings. I learned the hard way that a little dent on the tube can cause a big headache

    Who's headed out this weekend

That might be the biggest bear i've ever seen Here's another one to excite the bear hunters

    Lets talk Meat Grinders

I run the big 1 3/4 hp grinder from cabelas. It's been going strong for about 10 years. We process 5-10 animals year. It has ground many thousands of pounds. The foot pedal is the only way to go.

    Some to share

D You've really been kicking a dead horse on the trail cam thing. We are all aware of the pending change. There have been no less than 10 topics about it over the last 6 months. Great pics Dan! Always look forward to your posts

    Barbary/Aoudad

Your best bet would be to do a sef guided hunt on a west texas ranch. Will run 2-3k but will be hunting good populations and won't need to make scouting trips

Learning to use a Diaphragm Call

+1 on corey jacobsen. Could also add Joel Turner and Chris Roe to the list. IMO the top 3 elk callers. All of them have lots of content out there. There is a reason why all the best callers use diaphragm calls. Buy a bunch of different ones (i recommend phelps) and blow them on your commutes to work every day until you have the hang of it. That way you don't annoy anyone but yourself. The best and only way to learn is practice.

    QAD Exodus vs Slick Trick

Die hard slick tricker here too. I really don't see any room for improvement on them. Animals don't seem to like them much though

    Coues Antler Growth

Last year i elected not to archery hunt coues because even the very mature bucks i had seen/got on camera were waaay too underdeveloped. The growth is honestly nearly a month ahead of last year i feel like. Will have more to report this weekend when i check cameras.

    Coues Antler Growth

From what i have seen in the area i hunt, the coues are FAR ahead of where they were at this point last year.

What scope for a 6.5 cm Savage predator 10

    I have a veracity 5-25 on my .338 Lapua. It's been a great scope
  13. Pears are still really green from what i've seen. They probably won't be ripe for the opener

    Pick-up Cap/Shell

    Holy trail cams batman!

All these negative trail cam posts just give G&F more ammo.

    Elk Antler Growth 2017.....

I think the bulls are average or a little above. The bucks that i have seen are way above average. They got more moisture when they needed it most.

    Elk raffle bull

Really....There were 0 pics when that was posted.???then why would you say that if you didn't see a picture? have you seen the 2 giant bulls grayghost85 has under his belt already? id be surprised if he would shoot this bull with a raffle tagJust because there weren't pics posted on this website doesn't mean i hadn't seen them. CWT is not TMZ. I've seen a good handful of photos. Yes it is a big bull. No i would not kill that bull with a raffle tag. Even if that bull hits 400" on the inflated velvet score, which i don't see happening, i personally would not shoot that bull. The raffle tag is an opportunity to chase an absolute behemoth, old, gnarly bull and have a real opportunity to take what very well might be the biggest elk taken on earth that year. Congrats to the hunter, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Good thing i am not the beholder i guess.

    Elk raffle bull

Nice bull, but not sure i would wrap a raffle tag around that one
  24. GreyGhost85

too much time one my hands

A potato it would look like. No way to tell. All 270-310" 6 point bulls look the same in that stage of growth

    Wtb swaro 15x56 non hd

Apparently shedhunter has beef with groundpounders and bc777 but is in bed with A3? Anyone but me remember him accusing Groundpounders of stealing his cameras and him going AWOL on this forum for a few months? Enlighten everyone on the outcome of those accusations please
