Ruger American predator muzzle brake
GreyGhost85 replied to kennyazman's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
The brake didn't come with a backer nut? Shouldn't be a problem either way but you could put one on to cover the threads if it bothers you -
Bob, you don't need 10 hours a day or 100 days a year to check cameras. You bash them over and over and claim they are more or less a "rich man's scouting tool". Turns out, you would use them if you could be lazy in doing so. Smh. Don't hate that some of us work our @ss off all week long spend time checking/setting cams on our days off rather than drinking beer and complaining about the people that do. I can get nearly 300 miles on the cost of a 30 pack

You're welcome. Glad to help
-
Put an electrical tape border around the sensor so that there is only about a 1/4" square of it exposed and try it again
-
They transplanted some from morenci into both east fork and the greer area. The fire did get a bunch of them but not all. They shot the biggest ram in the state last year out of there. 191". The heard is coming back VERY strong

I know multiple people that have been there in recent years. Both guided and unguided and they all say near identical to what i did when the dust settles. I am not a keyboard warrior or some chump that doesn't know anything. Things need to change in regards to AZ bison hunts and i feel that even king Russ himself would agree.
-
The sheep and buffalo clinic are like no other game animal so don't try to compare apples to bananas. The man made a monopoly on the buff hunts and you cannot disagree. If you hunt bison, you hunt through Russ, plain and simple. If you don't pay Russ, you don't get the same opportunity as someone who does. How do people think this is ok? Smh. How in the heII do us so called conservationists and fair chase hunters advocate this? What if one guy was the gate keeper for sheep hunts and if you didn't pay him, your chances of killing a sheep drastically declined? I do not doubt that buffalo hold a special spot in the man's heart but come on! This is black and white
-
You forgot to mention how a3 helped you kill that buck.... Popcorn ready
-
It is 100% impossible to draw a sheep tag 3-5 choice.

I want to hear from another unguided hunter. Seems like one agressive paying client bashing a non paying hunter. The whole az bison situation is a shlt show....NOBODY can deny that. You HAVE to admit though that it definitely crosses the legal boundaries and a conflict of interest. Is Russ a paid G&F employee? My guess is no. Does AZGF do everything in their power to bring him clients? Yes. How does a man who is not "employed" by azgf, but mossbackaz put on the buffalo clinic legally? Could you imagine if the sheep clinic was put on by A3 or AZDO? Heads would explode. I have never had any contact with Russ, nor will I but you cannot honestly say that he does'nt try his best to sway the hunters into paying for a guided hunt. Sure he buys salt/blinds/cameras. It is an INVESTMENT. Same as a contractor buys tools to help him do better work and get more business. It's economics 101. If there was zero capital return, Russ Jacoby would have absolutely nothing to do with those buffalo. He figured out a way to monopolize a hunt and did. Cut and dry.

43b. 31 almost always go to max

He's in his basement watching Boondock Saints in his underwear, patiently waiting for this thread

New mexico has a dual residency clause for students. If you're a full time student, you can apply as a resident in your home state and new mexico.

Max BP's get higher and higher every year. Only a percentage of max point holders get drawn so the next the max goes up and so on and so forth. I am guessing there are thousands of people ahead of me for both sheep and antelope and with the small percentage that get tags every year, i will most likely not see "max" bp in my lifetime
-
I'm so far behind the 8 ball on sheep/lope/buffalo i would gladly trade in my 50-60bp's for a random draw at this point
-
Ammonia and/or bleach will usually keep the animals off the salt for a looong time. As will some scents that trappers use. Not saying i have first hand experience, but i might know a guy who knows a guy. I had someone steal my memory card and put their own camera and a treestand built out of lumber and nailed into the tree over my salt lick years ago.
-
Gonna be real sad when people have 30+ bps's for antelope. I'm at 21 and might never draw an AZ rifle antelope with the point creep
-
Must have been truehunter still trying to fill his tag
-
I both archery hunt and long range hunt. They both require a particular skill set that take a lot of time to master. When the particular skill set you have spent so much time mastering comes to fruition with a clean kill, the thrill is there and equivalent.

Fixed it. This is what i'm sure he meant to say

i will not post my "memorable" shots on here due to cw police but I like the thread. Had a few really close and a few really far
