I'm interested in this. Do you have the outdoorsman plates as well?

PRICE DROP!!! Custom Savage 7mm w/ Burris XTR II
GreyGhost85 replied to Bmj93's topic in Classified Ads
Does it have the factory barrel? Any photos? -
I've had cams do that. My cameras get a one time benefit of the doubt and then they get tossed on strike 2. Not sure of a fix.

What a giant

It definitely isn't the rifle for me and if i had an item for sale for over a month, I would question asking price. Good luck with the sale
-
Hate to break it to ya, but you're quite high on the price of the rem. $1000 rifle before the hideous paint job. Shepherd scope doesn't really add any value at this day in age. Not tryin to be a dick, but honestly you will probably get around $900-$1k for the package

Nope. Land owner tags in nm are good unit wide.

What's the elk population there? I assume it's kinda like the 2a/b/c arizona hunts being that it is just across the border?
-
I really doubt it fits..try it and report back!
-
That's true i guess. I'll compromise, 2% studying, 98% luck! Love those red horned rams. What did. Yours score?
-
Congrats on the ram, but studying the draw and making good choices doesn't have much to do with drawing unless you have max bp's. 99.9999% luck

I rock the manfrotto 700rc2 on my tripods. Lightweight, not too expensive and bomb proof. Been using them for 10 years

Grand Canyon/Kaibab Buffalo
GreyGhost85 replied to runningbird's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
So runningbird, what have you done that separates you from the majority? -
Are you sure they can shoot on sight or does the wolf have to be harassing or killing their animals? It has to be actively harrassing or killing livestock. They can however kill your pet and you can't do anything about it. Their use of the term "livestock" can be pretty blurry too if i remember tight

Someone give that man a prize

My uncle has probably been hit harder by wolf reintroduction than anyone, being ground zero for the introduction. The impacts and cattle loss are FAR worse than what the wolf lovers want you to think. They constantly give the run around on cattle reimbursement. Last I heard he has been compensated for exactly 1 cow in probably around 100 killed by wolves. Has photos of a wolf actively killing a cow dog and could do nothing about it. Those animals are NOT wild. They are feral/hybrid dogs and act like it. I have seen a lot of them and they are not afraid of humans because they are still fed by them. There are also a lot more than what they want to admit. There are said to be around 100 of them. About 50/50 collared to non collared. Many people with a lot of knowledge figure there are closer to 500. If there were 100 i guess i've seen half of the population
-
Wolves were reintroduced in the mid 90's btw. Probably what you heard. There have always been "sightings" since the eradication in i think the 50's, but there have also been grizzly bear and bigfoot "sightings"

Try not to take this the wrong way, but you are going to have a REALLY hard time selling those mounts here. I for one (and i'm sure 99% of people on here agree) would never buy a mount. Try ebay. Might be some people back east or something looking for one to hang in a bar. You would probably get more money too. In all honesty, here they are probably only worth antler weight to a horn buyer.

My hunting boots always wear out far before the soles. How stiff are the dakotas? The summits are great boots, but don't really give me the ankle support i like. Perfect day boot, but i prefer a boot that feels about like a ski boot
-
I suggest you talk to some ranchers to get first hand knowledge of their impact........killemall
-
Bob, if i remember right, you paid for a guide on your elk hunt last year? A lot more people would agree that that makes you less of a hunter than someone that hangs trail cameras. Just some food for thought
-
Old style razors are great glass. $500 is a really good deal. Traded a pair of 8x42 a couple years ago and i miss them.
-
^^ this. I've been down some serious YouTube rabbit holes but nothing like that fruit cake
-
LITTER? I think there is actual litter, unattended camp fires and off road driving we should be more concerned about. Places are being shut down and not because of trail cams. They are actual LITTER as well Welcome back str8shot. we all missed your negative input on trail cameras

What Loads for a Muzzleloader do you use?
GreyGhost85 replied to Wetfinn's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
If you're shooting 1-1.5" with a muzzy, don't change anything!
