Frost bite?

i always keep a couple packs of hydrate and recover and energy & focus in my pack. they seem to give me a little boost. like was said though, they don't do anything that any other supplements that cost half the amount will do. a scoop of pre workout and a scoop of amino's like we all take before and during a workout will give you the same results.

hahaha. my bad. i've posted them up a few times for people to see when deciding what pose to use for elk. here they are again. i've got better pics with different angles if you need any more persuasion. big bulls with short ceilings IMO need to be mounted 90 degree or pedestal. any other form, they are either too low on the wall or they have to mount their antlers in an unnatural position to clear the wall

i have 9' ceilings and 2 really big mounted bulls (372, 402") and went with the 90 degree turn about like the one lance posted. not only is that the best pose to get them the highest on the wall, but i think it shows elk off the best

i shot all the 2016's in september. the carbon defiant, the new elite (can't remember the name) and the Halon 6 all shot very smooth. i went with the Halon. i liked it'd draw cycle the best and it was faster than the other 2 without giving up anything. was not impressed with the defiant turbo or the bowtechs. felt like they were going to rip my arm off

What is recommended rings/bases for Vortex Viper 44mm on Rem 700 LA?
GreyGhost85 replied to Viper's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I would do a 20moa rail and medium or low rings -
I would not start my coues career in 27. Learn how to hunt them in an easier unit with more deer. An inexperienced coues hunter might have a hard time even finding a coues in 27

I would bet the house on a bobcat over any domestic K9.

Your original post says $320?

CZ and Tikka both make a rifle in that particular cartridge.

I'm guessing they are liquidating inventory due to patent infringement with Yeti, at least that's what i heard. they will probably release coolers with a slightly different design once these are all sold. only reason i can think of for getting rid of 100% of their inventory

2017 buck, now the wait begins

Looking for someone to develop a round
GreyGhost85 replied to olmos1010's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Have you shot factory ammo yet? It will be a lot cheaper -
they get shot a lot more than FWS wants to admit. anyone that has seen a good number of them will agree they look a LOT like a good sized coyote. they are not very big at all. from the 20 or 30 that i have seen, they look to be in the 50-80lb range is all. really have to do a double take not to mix them up with a coyote. a would guess that most that are killed are done so by a case of mistaken identity.

or is it saving you way too much

waterdogs are a blast. we used to seine the heck out of them in dirt tanks in unit 1 and 27. like stated earlier, you could get a thousand out of 1 tank. they work great for big ol trout as well. if a fish won't eat a waterdog, it must be a vegan

Yes, through their website

thanks for the heads up. just ordered a 45. $120 shipped

Bob, i usually enjoy your posts, but this one is a real headscratcher. this has nothing to do with people being "cheap". it doesn't matter if you make $100 and hour or $10 an hour, that dollar bill you have in your pocket is now worth about 80 cents as of a few weeks ago. the people that have worked their way up the food chain to earn a decent living are now going to make just a few bucks more an hour than a burger flipping high school kid. I started climbing 500' towers in 120 degree weather and -40 with blowing snow and wind for $12 an hour about 11 years ago, which i thought was actually decent wages, and it has now secured a a good CAREER. after the minimum wage law is in full effect, nobody will be motivated to learn a trade when they can do a mindless BS job for the same pay. thousands of people are going to lose their jobs over this. all this does is lower the value of YOUR hard earned money and gives losers with no direction in life more money at your expense.

This one will probably be pretty tough for some people, but someone will get it. took this photo 5 or 6 years ago.

This is one crazy fight
GreyGhost85 replied to OpticNerd's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
looks like more of a murder than a fight. mother nature is one rough bltch -
Davis Monthan AFB. Possible active shooter scenario. Gunshots reported but no other news of a shooter or injuries from what i can tell

Unless you are buying competition dies, weighing and sorting brass, and shooting bench rest competition already, don't worry about it. All it will do is add time, money and headaches. Competition dies will do more for you than that

I have handled the new browning LR rifles (heck's Canyon edition) and was impressed. nearly bought one but they didn't offer it in the barrel length and caliber i wanted. i did a lot of research on them and they are reportedly extremely accurate, lightweight rifles. really a lot of bang for the buck. the GoHunt guys are shooting them exclusively now (not that that matters, but guys that can afford any rifle that are shooting these should be good for something). they run around 7lbs, fluted barrel, muzzle break and cerakote for around $1100.
