Overheard a guy at work tell someone he could shoot a dime at 300 yards....with his bow......and that he pulled 175lbs.......and his daughter shot a bow also and was outgrowing her 100lb bow. Total D-Bag.

Teton line is pretty good especially the pants softshell jacket and puffy. pants and softshell are really durable. The puffy is not, but it's made to be light and warm, which it is

A good buddy of mine has been with me on most of my kills the last few years. Was with me when i killed my biggest buck, my only bear and answered his phone at midnight a few years ago and was in camp before sun up the next morning with a pack string to haul out my biggest bull. He's been with my on all of my crazy, lat minute expeditions and always willing to lend some labor any time it's needed. The Arizona draw system hasn't done him any favors so we decided this year to get him a coues tag and at least get out there and hunt. i wasn't able to hunt opening day, but was there friday night and we discussed a plan. Saturday was eventful but couldn't quite make it happen on a decent 3x3. Next morning we were back at it again. Glassed this buck first thing in the morning and through many frustrating hours of ups and downs we were able to get him knocked down. He' a great buck, killed in one of our favorite spots. This buck would be great in any unit in my book but the older and more experienced i get, i would rather kill a buck in a place that is special to me than a big buck in a random area. I only hunted 2 days, but those 2 days were grueling. Rolling out of bed this morning felt like i went 5 rounds in a UFC fight. Totally worth it.

I'm a crab guy 100%. The shrimp is where it's at at the angry crab though. Most bang for your buck. I ate 3 pounds of them last time i was there with trifecta hot. My kulo was hating me the next day though

Glad someone acted quick. What a creep. Pervert and a scammer. Double whammy -

Stick to the cedars Willy and leave those big coues for the rest of us! Great job guys. Like seeing the mountain boys get it done -
Buck Fever.....

when i was walking over to locate the buck my dad killed there was a small 2 point around 50-60 yards from me on an open, grassy hillside without even a tree on it. a side by side loaded up with hunters slammed on their brakes and shot over my head 4 times from i would guess 7-800 yards out. scares me to think about it. i was caught in a serious crossfire, had to hit the deck and army crawl over to a tree until they stopped shooting. i hate to think it, but i would bet i was in their scope along with the buck. absolutely 0% chance they didn't see me.

That's my biggest gripe. Even if you are one of those .001% of hunters that can consistently make that shot, from what i have seen, animals might not even act hit at that distance and these people don't look for hit indications. Sad deal

That's Duskin Donaldson's buck. Huge buck, great kid.

Thanks for all the kind words. He set the bar pretty high for his first rifle coues. The buck goes right around 105".

This is why some people don't deserve to hunt

I'd like to say unbelievable, but it's not. That buck isn't even close to resembling a coues. -
wonder who's going to post up the first buck? chomping at the bit here to leave work to go help out a buddy this weekend.

the tree saddle from what i can tell is just a spin on a tower climbing harness. tower harnesses have a thick padded aluminum seat and are made to hang in all day long. i have logged thousands of hours in them climbing towers for a living. never thought about using one for hunting. i've got a few real nice ones in my garage with all the rigging, being that i don't climb anymore. might be time to dust one off and give it a try. the only problem i see is your legs are going to get tired from bracing yourself off the tree all day.

i have the old style geovids and love them. this is a killer deal and really has me thinking

I didn't realize it was that much! I was told he got it for around 2500, this was 2-3 years ago. High roller over here! Haha. They've gone up, i'm sure. Just like everything else....thanks a lot Obama
