While i don't agree with damaging nature or 20 cams on a maintained tank, it seems like most people that are strongly against trail cameras are because they lack the dedication/time/funds to run them. I too have been running cameras for i think 12 years now and if anyone thinks it is an unfair advantage, they need to try it for themselves and see what it is. In my hunting party, i can think of maybe 3 bucks we have killed that we had on camera. It is more of a hobby than anything for the overhwhelming majority of people that use them. People need to smart and respectful when using them and the majority of them probably are but like many things, the 1% are going to ruin it for the 99%

I rank them in this order. Swaro HD, Zeiss HD, Swaro non HD, kaibabs quite a way behind. Buy used swaros or zeiss instead of new kaibabs all day. I have spent a lot of time behind all of them, minus cabelas euro (meopta) but they are probably right there with zeiss HD.

I run a lot of cameras and would be fine if they banned them during the season and on maintained water sources. Too many people checking cameras on tanks during archery elk season, pushing elk/deer out of their travel patterns and screwing up other hunter's opportunities.

I have seen a couple accidental head shots go wrong. One involved an antelope in colorado that was shot right in the front teeth facing head on. It was a mile or so later when he was finally put down. His bottom jaw was blown up so badly that it was slapping his front legs as he ran. Really sad deal. Would have been really upsetting if he got away.

there will be a lot of issues with expiring cards if they wait until the end of the month. probably 1 in 36 or so cards will expire by the end of march since they are usually issued for 3 years.

At this point our decisions are Hillary the liar, Socialist Sanders, Land grab Cruz and Trump. As a hunter and sportsman Trump to me is the only logical choice. If Cruz gets elected he might be more detrimental to our outdoor lifestyle than any of the other candidates by wanting to give the federal land back to the states, which if history repeats, will be terrible for sportsmen.
