I'm going to really throw a wrench in everything and say go with a .264WMAI. the AI stamp alone adds 300fps. kinda like a flame paint job, or stick on hood scoop from Vato Zone add at least 100hp to a vehicle.

Wolves in sonoita? Sure they weren't coyotes? -
I would guess that Arizona is one of the most conscious states when it comes to killing mature animals?

Great ram. Looks like an old warrior. Congratulations. Love seeing the guys that have paid their dues kill big old rams

I have the pelotan you are talking about, as well as the teton zip T. I honestly like the teton better, but it is not wearing very well. If i had to do it again, i might go with the merino. I hope this really muddied up the water for you . The Teton softshell is my favorite article of Kuiu i own though, and i have quite a bit

I developed a horrible case of target panic over the last couple years. It takes all the fun out of archery. I bought a carter evolution and it does help a lot. They are not practical for hunting though IMO. Once i get really comfortable, i will try either a thumb release, or possibly a ringer release. Target panic is no joke, and people have no idea how frustrrating it is until it happens to them. The best archers all go through it eventually. I would pick up a carter evolution if it was me

The other 60% is scattered through the animal in small pieces usually

Lots of people with good eyes on here that would be willing to help. The ram in the last pic looks like he needs a closer look

Light Weight Deer Gun?
GreyGhost85 replied to AZ_SAWBUCK's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
look at the savage lightweight hunters. they make one in a 6.5 creedmore that is a great rifle. they weigh under 5.5lbs without a scope. I know a few guys that shoot them and they are all 1/2MOA rifles -
"cool find" is such an understatement!

Worth buying a pellet gun or hold out for a shotgun?
GreyGhost85 replied to cwnova's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Pellet guns are a lot of fun and make for some good practice though. you could pick up a pellet gun and a shotgun for less than $450 pretty easily -
You are correct. One and done, no matter otc or draw
