yes, it's a blown out 556. they did this so you can use standard ar magazines. kind of a turd as far as velocity, but a lot of people are starting to like them

might have been, but i know a lot of other people that have had the same issues. i am also not a big fan of exposed turrets. when using an eberlestock backpack scabbard, they have a tendency to roll when you pull out your rifle and stuff it back in the case.

i have a flex fuel silverado with the 5.3 as well. my truck does not like it. Save a couple bucks or lose a few mpg? double edged sword for sure

that's a great piece of info. i run mostly stealth cams and have never had an issue with them, it sounds sounds like it's a good thing too. i have thought about trying out some Browning cams and it sounds like you just made them a couple sales

Funny, I'm working on replacing all my vortex stuff. Sure they have a great warranty, but that is for good reason. It seems like all of my vortex optics are getting worked more than they aren't. I recently purchased a Burris Veracity 5-25X50. Has all the features you want in a long range scope and is about the same price as the Vortex PST. I am just getting tired of sending every Vortex item i own back for warranty work

i shoot the 150's out of my .270. they shoot great and perform great on animals. nothing bad to say on my end, other than the advertised BC is probably not as high as actual BC
