This and people “donating” their tag and using point guard. I would like to see how many tags in arizona are drawn on party apps with the help of point guard, or surrendered and point guarded. I bet the number is staggering.
-
I would be all about it but the damage is already done and G&F is probably done paying them anyways because it no longer benefits them. It is no secret that we are losing all otc hunts because of it. G&F will still find other ways to spend our money in areas that do not benefit wildlife like what i’m imagining this point guard premium membership BS is. They know they’re going to lose a ton of revenue when OTC hunts are gone and this will be a way to make up for it. I do appreciate your involvement but there are much larger issues to tackle.

The people that take advantage of point guard do not care what it costs. It could be $1000 and it wouldn’t matter. What is a “donated” sheep tag worth? The tag donations have also bogged down the max bp pool substantially… and WTF is point guard plus membership? Probably a way to make tag “donations” easier and more frequent.

I’ll sign it when we have a petition for point guard and a solution for people taking advantage of(and a paycheck for) "tag donation”. Paying influencers is BS but all you gotta do is cap non-rez otc tags and it all becomes irrelevant.

Kodiak Brown Bear Hunt 31 Oct - 6 Nov 2021
GreyGhost85 replied to IAMMAC's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
That will be an adventure and a half. I hunted blacktail this last year on Kodiak. It is a ROUGH place for sure. You need to get in shape mentally as much or than physically. I never felt like my level of physical condition prohibited me from hunting any harder than i did but your brain will likely tell you to quit several times. Positive attitude and good clothing are the most important things to bring with you -
The nightforce is made by meopta. It is the exact same spotter as the Meostar S2. Quality is right up there with the big guys. I’ve had both zeiss and swaro NON HD and this spotter is better. Probably just slightly below the HD models of the big 3.

That’s a great deal for someone

The camo face paint is really going to hide his arms

Good luck! Hate to be a dick but i see you’ve made exactly 3 posts in the last few years and every one of them is asking for and receiving unit specific help.

Man, if your 01 4-runner is worth that much i wonder what my near spotless 03 taco with 120k is worth?

It might be worse now after those rains. It got it pretty bad. The 2nd photo is from next to the tower, looking kinda NE back towards the main road/globe. 3rd photo is the big canyon on the left about a mile from the locked gate that goes to Madera.
-
I drove to the top of Madera Peak for work a couple weeks ago to check out the tower. The road wasn’t much different than it’s always been

Man that REALLY smells fishy. Definitely some kind of fukkery if it happens
-
Probably some of the best meat imaginable
-
Calf caught in a fence and the cow didn’t want to leave? The size of the quarters and color of the meat look "calfy"
-
Wrong side of the fence?

I prefer a center shoulder shot with a 300gn arrow and an expandable broadhead.

Does anyone believe Ned isn’t going to run cameras? Somehow he’s got G&F eating out of his hand. When WE run cameras it violates the policy, when HE runs cameras it is for research. A good friend of mine told Ned to shove it 3-4 years ago. Hiked the fence line and killed a monster booner. I’d like to do the same thing some day.

Thoughts on Leupold VX-3i LRP 6.5-20X50mm scope
GreyGhost85 replied to VinceDuarte's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
If you put a vortex on a creedmoor, you’re guaranteed 1000 yard accuracy out of the box. A leupold on a prc? Gotta be good for at least 1500. -
Quit my job of 15 years last week and started in a new industry. Pay cut to begin with but zero responsibilities and much better retirement/earning potential. Took a lot of hard work and savings to get into a financial position where i could afford it for a couple years. Also, i have a deer tag and my dad has U1 antelope and U1 deer this year. My 11 year old niece also drew unit 1 deer. 2021 is shaping up but 2024 will make everything great again.

If it was an honest system and functioned properly, slim to none. REAL curious about who drew it.

This Weeks Welcomed Monsoons and 24A
GreyGhost85 replied to Lazy-H98's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I drove to the top of Madera peak a couple days ago to inspect the tower. It is pretty desolate. There is a little bit of new growth in a couple spots but nothing substantial. That fire burned HOT. I do not think it is going to green up a whole lot this year
