If you have time or access to download podcast, get podbean and listen to the Jay Scott podcasts. You can scroll through all the episodes and listen to the ones that interest you. He did some last fall on early season Coues hunts that are loaded with valuable information on glassing gear and when and where to look. The Gritty Bowman is another good one to get information on gear etc. Good Luck this fall!

I agree with the Dirtbag! Give him a couple years.......... Especially if he's in 22 or 24b.

Wow..... They are proud of their product. I'd support Kuiu or another hunting company before I'd spend that kind of $$ on a lightweight tent.

Where are you located?

Nacho is up for sale. 8 year old bay gelding. Not a big horse but he's a good one. I have used him on several pack trips, including packing out a bear last fall. He can be ridden by kids with riding experience. No Kick, Buck. Shoes and leads great. Call with questions 602-292-9264. $800

Thanks for all the intrest guys! Keep your eyes pealed this fall for Nacho in the hills around Globe, cuz Nacho has a new home with a CW member! He's SOLD. JS

Listen to the Jay Scott podcasts on Coues Deer. I think there are about a dozen episodes that are loaded with information on Coues.

Nice Find! I found a couple yesterday in unit 10! I think its a match crazy looking bull if it is. Sheds were about 100 yards apart, mass is close to the same.

+1 for marathon! Expensive and there is a wait to get the seat covers but they are awesome!

Looks like a lot of Coues hunters are building 6.5 rifles. Can some one educate us on the benefits of this round?

Does anyone have a Tikka T3 lite in 270 wsm? Or 270? I'm considering getting one and am curious how hunters like them? Pros / Cons? Effective range for Coues? Etc.....

Pretty good line up so far! I'm actually a but surprised that there aren't more 270 and 270 WSM on the list. 6 300 WM 4 243 4 6.5 3 300 RUM 3 7MM 3 257WBY 3 280 2 270 WSM 2 270 2 280 2 338 2 25-06 1 7MM WSM 1 260 1 22-250 1 7-08 1 7STW

I have a small 8 year old gelding. He's good for experienced kids to ride or as a pack horse. Up for a trade?

93 3/4". Do you know who did that mount? -
Not sure where you live, but I was Checking out some ground near San Simon today and noticed that they have sprinkler systems installed for their pecan trees in some orchards. (Newer operation on the north side of the 10). Looks like they have 1/2" galvanized risers that get the heads 16" or so off the ground. They are positioned about 2' from the base of every tree, in line with the tree rows so they can still disk and spray in-between rows. Something like this should work. I bet bubblers would work with the same set up. I have a relative that uses a similar sprinkler system for his apple orchard, but he has above ground 2" hdpe and larger sprinklers on a 40' grid. Works good for him set up with an electronic timer.

Made you look!.........I say they will get posted on the 12th. I if I remember right they don't usually post results right before a weekend.......

If that's what people really pay for those dogs then, I'm starting a puppy mill.............That's Nuts!
