Don't feel like you need to make excuses for the price. That is a great deal in today's market. I'd be in if I hadn't already stock up.

Could have been worse. He could have had a poptart in his backpack. -
AR Rifles aren't necessary????
rossislider replied to sjvcon's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
It only gets better. According to Senator Feinstein "it’s legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines." http://www.examiner.com/article/sen-dianne-feinstein-claims-it-s-legal-to-hunt-humans-during-senate-hearing Amanda may need to start a new website: humanwhitetail.com? -
Very cool, thanks for posting.

Giving a Coyote a Haircut

That gave me a flashback of the turkey I shaved some back feathers off of while coues hunting over Labor day weekend last year. Thanks for the cool video. -
There is still hope for this country after all

Please tell me this on on a menu somewhere! I know what I'm making next time I smoke some pork butts. -
I'm impressed. That is a nice looking room!

125" Coues Buck mounted for forum member "azbow"!
rossislider replied to WildHeritageTaxidermy's topic in Wild Heritage Taxidermy
Another awesome mount! -
I wouldn't jump down anyone's throat for scoring a bit off. Its not hurting anyone. Why not let them have that extra bit of pride in their success. I would never want to deprive a fellow outdoors man of that, especially a "newbie". We have all been a "newbie" at one point. I think the better approach would be to congratulate and coach rather than chastise. Today's newbie will be tomorrow's veteran, coaching the next generation of hunters. Lastly, one of the best parts about hunting, fishing, the outdoors, etc are the stories that are passed on for years. With time the stories only "grow" bigger and better.

Time to sell some Fur!
rossislider replied to bonecollector777's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
That is impressive. Good luck with the sale! Still looking for my first cat, but a bad leg and two surgeries over the past year haven't allowed it to happen. Crossing my fingers for this fall! I may have to hit you up for some pointers. -
Feeding the Frenzy - Story update
rossislider replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Shed Hunting
Wow, I hope you find him! If you want to PM me the coordinates I'd be happy to look for him "for you" around the end of August? LOL -
Congratulations!

LOL! Yea, good luck with that!

I wish I was in your area, I'd happily come take care of them for you! Do you have a bow? That would take care of your not being able to shoot around houses problem. You also might consider picking up a live trap (if in season, I have no idea). You could pick one up at Home Depot for about $50. (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Havahart-Large-Collapsible-Easy-Set-Animal-Trap-1092/100645029#.UTdpyVeGNA4). A bobcat pelt would easily offset the cost and then some.
-
Nice, I especially like the bobcat!

I have seen this a few times now. They will overpay, ask you to send the balance back to them, and then once the bank finds out the check is bogus you are out the entire amount. This is a scam. Run!!! See this link for a more in depth explanation. http://money.howstuffworks.com/craigslist3.htm

Arizona Commissioners Elk Tag Sells for $385,000
rossislider replied to rthrbhntng's topic in Elk Hunting
Probably a stupid question, but am I correct in assuming AZGFD has no jurisdiction over how this money is spent? -
Love the idea!

A Must See about High-Cap Mags
rossislider replied to coues7's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Great video and demonstration. Looks like having a smaller capacity magazine would do a fantastic job of giving a would be hero a great opportunity to give the attacker and even better target to shoot at. -

I use to do a lot of climbing and rappelling with the boy scouts. But time and age dont allow me to do this as much as I used to, so I have decided to sell my gear and put it towards my other hobbies. Items include: 150 ft. of 7/16 Static Rope - The rope is in excellent condition and has a strength rating of 32 kilonewtons (approximately 7200 lbs.). It was purchased approximately 1 year ago at Sports Chalet to take a group of boy scouts out ,and was used that one morning only. I have traditionally retired all my ropes after about five years for safety reasons. They become great hunting ropes. 5 Figure Eight Rings 4 Carabiners 3 Harnesses Several Pairs of Gloves BSA Climbing Merit Badge Book Basic Climbing Manual Everything has always been stored indoors in closed bins and is in excellent condition. The gear new would probably run between $400-$500. Asking $150 from a CWT member. I have it listed on Craigslist for $200.

Load Data for S&W AR-15
rossislider replied to Big Browns's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have had awesome results with 24.5 grains of H335 pushing 55 grain Hornady V-max. But, I also have a custom made barrel that they are being shot through which is also a big contributor. Not the same gun as yours, but may be worth a try. I have never tried it myself but my gunsmith swears by R17 and R19 for a .223 load. He claims it shoots fast, clean, and deadly accurate. -
+1 Well worth the money!

I've watched it several times now and I'm still not convinced. Maybe a lion that lost his tail?
