That was my Dad, he passed in June of 25. I'm on the far right.

You ask for our opinion and I gave you an answer. I don't think I spout my service every second, but I'll just give you this, from left to right is my Great Grand Father, Civil War (30th OVI), my Grandfather WW l (WIA France), my Uncle Sam Korea Vet, my Uncle Jerry Korea Vet, my Dad Korea Vet, my Uncle John Korea Vet (everyone else was Army, he's the lone Marine), my Uncle Irvin Korea Vet, and myself. Where did you serve?

If you notice his right hand is up, that's called a salute. I'd rather have my Commander in Chief honoring the fallen with a salute than one checking his watch. That's just me. Another thing I don't recall a single post on here about all the military equipment that Joe and the hoe left in Afghanistan, maybe I missed it. One has to wonder how much of that equipment has been used against us. That equipment left behind kinda added to the deficit didn't it?

trphyhntr, You pound a pretty mean keyboard, other than that, not much there. I'll leave it at that.

Oh I understand, I've been around many men that's squatted to pee, never understood it, but that's the way it is.

Son, I'm speechless. I just have one question for you. Just how far away have you been from your backyard?

I thought your concern was about your tax rate going up.

I was in the Army with the 82nd Airborne Division when those ragheads took over our Embassy in 1979. I was still in when the Green Beanies went over there on that failed rescue mission. That's when things got serious, but Jimmy Carter didn't have the balls to do anything about it. I was in the Az Army National Guard when those ragheads bombed the Marine barracks in Beirut. I watched Obama and Biden send them pallets of cash. Now Trump is sending them ordinance. Do you think I care you you have to pay a little more for gas? The only down side to this is from my point of view if 10-15 years down the road if some service members picture shows up KIA in Iran and it was all in vain.

I didn't know that you and him were going to throw hands. I didn't say anything about squaring off, at my age it wouldn't look like much, an old lady swatting flys. Didn't mean to derail the thread, but since you seem comfortable sitting on the side lines, maybe that's where you should stay.

I don't think Outdoorwriter ever said anything about your service. He did infact state many times that you were all mouth though!
-
trophyhntr, I'm betting that you didn't have a day of High School ROTC. OutdoorWriter had you pegged.

This has gone on for 3 pages so far, and there has been many concerns, mostly how it's going to affect the dollars in their pockets. Not one post about some poor bastard in a uniform in harms way somewhere. Typical of posters here though. I'm betting the biggest grippers didn't have one drop of sweat roll down their back into the crack of their butt to do anything for this country.

Having a lifetime license doesn't really mean all that much. I have a lifetime license and I just went for the trifecta of not getting drawn. Deer, javelina, and Elk (13 points). I'm beginning to wonder if I could draw flies if I stepped into a cesspool! Congrats to all that got a tag

No expert. That looks like some kind of a meat cutting knife. Shapleigh was a hardware store in St. Louis that sold all kinds of products. I recently inherited a box of stuff that was my Grandfather's. There was a pocket knife that was stamped Bridge Cutlery Co St Louis. It was an brand of knife that was made by Shapleigh, and they also had a couple of other brands, one being Keen Cutter if memory serves. The bottom knife in the pic is the Bridge Cutlery Co.
