I was through Thatcher this past Tuesday, and everything was open. There was highway signs up that the 60 was going to be closed from Sep 12-17, between Superior and Miami.

I think Ruger stopped making tangers in 84. I've had about 4 77's, but they have been Mark ll's. By the serial number in the first pic, this was made in 1980.

If memory serves, Frontier ammo was packaged Hornady ammo.

I don't know what side of town your on, but the last email I got from Rio Salado about sporting clays, they were selling 5 boxes of shells per 100 rounds of clays. Check your local Wal-Mart as was stated above, I picked up two 100 round boxes a couple of weeks ago.

Couldn't take another day at my job, walked from it on the 24th of last month. Kicked around the idea of retiring or going back to work at something else. I retired on the 20th of this month. Probably going to get a part time job for something to do, but for right now every time I get the urge to do something I go lay down til the urge goes away!

I have 2 vx-3i 4.5x14x40mm, I have 1 vx-3i 6.5x20x40mm EFR, and 1 FX-3 30x40mm. They have all worked for me.

Some say the quality has gone from Leupold, but that is what I use. Normally with a Leupold if the paralax adjustment is on the objective bell, the numbers don't always match up, and you want to make sure it tracks right. Leupold has a life time warranty also.

1st post welcome to the site. Most aren't going to give up their honey holes to a first time poster. Basic info, just about everyone hunts off the Ruby Rd or 39. If you go into the unit from the Pena Blanca lake side, from Thumb Butte to Arrivaca Lake is a good place to glass.

I've done it before, sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. There is alot of other variables also, how many times has the brass been used, and headspacing. If that brass has seen some use and has been resized for a gun with a tighter chamber then fired in a gun with some slop in the chamber, could see some case seperation. Only one way to find out, either fire one round, see what happens, or pull the bullets and start over.
