I have 2 Leupold VX-3i 4.5x14 scopes, they both track, the glass in one is better than the other. In that price range you could look at a Nikon in their Monarch line. I have a couple of those also, for the price the glass is good and they track.

Upon reflection, this post did not need to go 4 pages, or even to start a post like this. Quite simply all the OP had to do was ask his wife. Because if she's anything like my wife, she knows it all!

I wouldn't chance it anyway. I haven't seen a Game Warden in 15-20 years. My luck I would sit down to glass in a unit that was across from mine and there would be one.

My bet is that if your gun is loaded and your not in the unit that your tag is for, you could be charged. Would GF charge you? Who knows.

I took the case that I shot that one with, cut it just above the case head, took a drill bit and countersunk a hole and glued the case head into the wood.

Don't know what size you want, but just about any trophy shop has them. If I remember right I got this one in Chandler, on AZ Ave.

Viper, If you have a factory Remington, especially a newer one that will shoot 2 inches at 100, it is cause for celebration!

If all your scope, bases, and action screws are tight and your barrel is clean, it's probably toast.

Ok just give me a couple of days notice when u want to have it looked at. Try to shoot it at least 400 yards. Usually a barrel that's gone won't hold paper at that distance.

I don't have one but one of my buds has one that he would probably take a peek at it for you. When do you want it done and how many rounds down the tube?

The dime and a shotgun choke goes back a long time. Some swear by it and others say it proves two things. One you have a dime and two you have a barrel to put it in.
