Yes it is the Blevins house in Holbrook. Commodore Perry Owens shot his rifle 4 times, three dead and one wounded. Someone from inside the house killed a horse that was tied up outside.

No. One man singlehandedly turned this place into a bloodbath.

I've had a T3 in 7mm Rem Mag, a T3 Hunter in .308 Winchester, and currently own a T3X Hunter in 30-06 , none of them have had a long throat in them.

It's been a few years since I shot a .260, but with mine I found that basically any powder that would work in a .308 Winchester will work in a .260, 4895, 4064, Varget. At one time I was shooting a 6.5x55 and a .260 at the same time and I was using a mild load of VV-N-150 for both.

In Carmichaels Book of the Rifle, he puts up the same argument when a African PH does the same thing.

When I was a kid any type of a toy gun. I had a Johnny 7 OMA. I remember a set of six guns that had a Wagon Train theme to them, like the old TV show. I had a GI Joe probably about the first year they came out.

Ran into this mine one time. From our camp you could see the tailings, but not an entrance. One afternoon we were coming back into camp and my buddy and I stop at the entrance, and he lays his rifle down and takes off his pack. I figured if there was gold in there someone else had already got it, and I'm pretty sure I didn't lose anything in there, so I tell my buddy if you get in there and start screaming like a little girl it's going to cost ya. Anyway he said that it didn't go that far back and it was all dug out with a star hammer.

That sign is a little hard to read you can Google Hank and Yank ruins and it will tell you the story of the ranch.

When I first saw this place, you could just about drive to it. Later some agency placed pileons across the road because of some endangered species in the Creek. From one of the camp sites by the pileons you can see a solar panel. A few years ago there was about 15-20 people gathered around the solar panel, doing what I don't know. We later found out they were from the Nature Conservatory. Not a good sign.

There are 2 canyons in AZ with the same name. This one is the lesser famous of the two.

Once upon a time there was a sign telling what it was, but I think it was used for firewood and not replaced. Historical significance is that Geronimo attacked the occupants. Birders, hikers, and hunters have probably walked by and not known it was there.

None that I've seen. Yes Southern AZ.

I googled Captain Kangaroo and they said that what Marvin said about him was an urban legend. That he was in the Marine Corp Reserve during WWll and never left the state's. So I don't know.

Every blank that I ever saw had a crimp on the end, but that's been over 40 years ago. I showed this to an Army EOD tech, and from this pic, she had no clue.
