For the record, I'm no kind of hehe or haha gay! I do have two pieces of paper though, one is a DD 214 and the other is a NGB 22, with a total of 12 years, one month, and 14 days. Basically what it says that anyone and everyone can go with whatever team they choose, no matter if they went there or not, no matter if they are five states or ten away. I'm 100% sure that any other vet would agree.

Nice Deer. They don't get no deader than that.

Ditto to what Muledeerarea33? said, the case will be the correct headspace. If its a factory barrel a bullet might slide right into the casemouth after firing it, if it's Got a tighter throat you might have to open it up a little.

Hornady ELD-X .284 150gr.

No chrono. Hornady recommended 10-30 thousands off lands, went with 15, shot real good out of a bone stock factory rifle. -
Getting ready to put some loads together for my buds 7mm Rem Mag. About 8-15 thousands off the lands with these bullets also? I have no experience with these bullets.

Could be anything. Happened once to me, at Brunos, they run you there CCW (which I have) or not, came back delay. I was told that they have three days to allow or deny, if nothing is said within three days the business can turn it over to you. After two days I got a call that I could pick up the rifle. Paid 40.00 for the transfer, which I learned to go to Healys cheaper and hassle free.

Called Hornady today, was told to load them 10-30 thousands off the lands. I noticed when I was opening the box, it states 1-10 twist on the bottom of the box. Other than a custom barrel, who has a 10 twist in a factory rifle? -
Found out today that Lones passed away on Thursday. Lones was the greatest shooters ever. I've met Lones many times, real nice guy.

Hornady Load Data for 270 WIN 150 grain? Anyone?

Sorry, away from the phone for a little while. -
Don't know not a lawyer, but if one of them got hurt with a gun, you might need one. Most of the larger ranges offer classes for such things.

How to get brass out of h&r single shot

Headcase separation, as stated above an oversize brush through the breech past the case then pull it out. -
I keep it simple. I hunt with a retired meat cutter. He does the cutting!

Here you go. -
300RUM, I believe your statement to be true, that is assuming the barrel is fairly new, and if the lands were worn at all, they would be even. I have heard both sides of the argument, that the bullet would straighten itself out before if left the barrel, and the other side that no way that a bullet would. Like the guy from Sierra said Alot of varibales. Another thing to think about that there is alot of slop in a typical factory barrel, any slop in the chamber area and the bullet might be off center from the get go.

Saw Lances post about the case splitting, and I've ask this one question before, but here goes again. Say typical 30-06, 150gr bullet, 24 inch barrel, 3000fps, either case splits or primer pocket loose, how much velocity loss do you think there will be? Question two same scenario with the 30-06. Say the bullet isn't seated right, say 3 thousands run out, and is seated 15 thousands off the lands, will that bullet straighten out before it exits the barrel, or does it leave crooked. If it leaves crooked, assuming whatever twist the barrel is, having a right hand twist, is the bullet going to land to the right of the target, or however it was loaded into the chamber with the run out?

Normally I ask to talk to Tommy Todd, but I think this guy said his name was Paul.
-
I called Sierra Bullets this am. Question number one was answered with I couldn't tell you, but your definitely going to lose velocity, second answer was your definitely going to have some yaw, where it would impact, couldn't tell you to many variables.

The number of guns listed on a safe is right up there with temp ratings on a sleeping bag and numbers on a tent as to how many will fit. I have a Liberty safe that I'm happy with. It's supposed to be a 15 gun safe, but there is no way 15 guns is going to fit inside. I also have a Stack On that is rated for 8, but no way for that either. The Stack On safe is just going to keep an honest man honest.
