I think our daughters are safe around this guy. There was a guy that PBS did a documentary on that thought he was a Bear whisper, at some point in time they found his bloody tennis shoes, but nothing else.

My best guess is a Corn Snake. Saw it yesterday when I was leaving the Globe-Miami Gun Club, where the pavement starts.

I think there will always be someone that will be willing to put on some kind of a uniform and stand up for this country, given that they are taught the right things at home.

I use one. Number one they wont break the bank. The down side is as with all low cost bags is the temp rating. Also with the lower end tents is the person rating. If it's a zero degree bag you can figure if the temp hits 25-30 you will be freezing, and if the tent is rated for four, two will be crowded.

I was always more concerned about the twist more than the grooves, I know lilja is a quality product in a .22 cal barrel, but I can't say as that I have known too many people that have one in a larger bore. The .22 that I just picked up has a Lilja barrel on it, and it has shot all right so far with the ammo that I have ran thru it.

Winchester model 70 30-06 1954

I would start at 400.00 and go from there depending on how bad you want it. There are post 64 Winchesters that will shoot as good as the pre 64's. I had a Featherweight in .308 that I picked up around 1986 that shot lights out, and I have a current sporter in .270, that after I had rebedded that is a shooter. -

Typically those pre 64 actions are heavy compared to the actions that are made today. I've seen just the barreled actions go for 600.00+, depends on what you want to do with it, if its for an investment an aftermarket stock or a cracked stock is probably going to bring the value down. If it's for a hunting rifle and you want to go with a pre 64, go on ahead. -
That would be my luck exactly.

Had one on the Silhouette range at Ben Avery, called G&F office, guy shows up picks it up got in the truck stuck the monster on his lap and took off. Said they were docile. I'll just have to take his word for it.

My best guess is a Savage action with a Leupold scope. -

Looking for a good gunsmith!!!! For my 300 win mag
10Turkeys replied to Rock30golf's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
My first question would be how many rounds have been down the barrel. Usually when the throat starts to go, a rifle will still group at 200 and 300, but will be lucky to be on paper at 400. -
Years ago I saw one in a .280 Rem that would rival a bolt at 100 with three shots, but those type are few and far between.

Winchester 70, .270, 24 inch barrel, pristine condition, looks brand new, less than 100 rounds down barrel, shot so so when I got it, had it rebedded, shoots lights out. The pic is with this gun at 100 yards with some ammo that I put together for another gun. 750.00. Ruger Mark ll,.270, 22 inch barrel, got this one used, no idea of round count, shot about an inch and a half, bone stock rifle. 500.00 Savage 11, 6.5 Creedmore, 22 inch barrel, less than 75 rounds down the tube, comes with 50 pieces of Hornady brass, what's left of two boxes of Winchester 140 grn. Match ammo, and RCBS dies. 500.00. The Winchester and the Savage have been broken in using the 20 shot method. I don't get an e-mail notification of a PM, so if you PM me, let me know in a post and I will get back with you. Would only let me post one pic of the Ruger and none of the Savage. If you want pics PM me.
