That group that you posted above will kill anything walking in this state and most others.

Although I have no experience with N-560 powder, I have shot quite a bit of N-550. The 500 series of VV powder is temp sensitive. Had a guy from the east side of Texas come here for our nationals in 2005, his loads were warm in Texas, his gun blew up on him.

Another one that I will always remember, if you look up dink in the dictionary(or Google it for the younger guys), this deers picture would be there, anyway he was facing me at about 150, I hit him in the right side with a .270 130gr Nosler Partition, when I got about 15 feet from him the smell was terrible, that Partition went right through him tearing up entrals along the way, normally I wash the insides out real good after I get the hide off back in camp, but this one got it on the spot.

Haven't had any hits from GF, but we put in with paper.

Accident mix powder what to do??
10Turkeys replied to Zeke-BE's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Boils down to a simple question. Ask yourself if you like the gun that you would shoot those loads out of? Yes, dump the powder. No, load em up and see what happens. Also keep one powder on your bench or table at a time, will eliminate any future errors. -
Don't know about a magazine, but Charlie Robertson from Score High Gunsmithing makes a follower for a Rem 700, don't know how close that is to a Savage, but you might want to get up with him and ask.

6.5X55 SE Handloading - Whats its potential?
10Turkeys replied to chuckster's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
When I was shooting a 6.5x55, I didn't load it to it's full potential, I was shooting a .260 in one gun and a Sweede in another, using about 38 grs. of VV-N-150, if memory serves.- 17 replies

Pretty close to Artillery range.

I have used the gun shop at Rio Salado Accuracy Speaks, Brunos, and Healy Arms. Recommend Healys. The last time I tried to send a gun to Accuracy, the other gun store couldn't get them to answer an e-mail to send a copy of their FFL. Brunos was 40.00, most I've ever paid, and the gun was there 3 days before I could even pick it up. Healys= No Problem, even a discount for CCW holders.

I'll have to agree that there are range Nazi's that are supposed to be range officers, but I am willing to bet those safety officers with any time on a public range have had a loaded gun pointed at them at least once, this past Friday I was at Ben Avery, a shooter chambered a 30-06 into his 300 Win Mag, when of course the bolt head wouldn't extract the smaller case, the guy then proceeded to try to fire it. That's one job I wouldn't want.

Had a Tundra, then a Tacoma, now a Nissan Titan. Wish I still had the Tundra.

This will be my first Antelope hunt this August. A friend got me a land owner tag from a friend of his. Right now all I can tell you that an out of state hunting licence and the add ones will set you back 362.00 in New Mexico, plus whatever the land owner charges you for the tag.

Didn't think of that, was thinking right out in the open, no fuss no muss.

Couple extention cords.

I am posting this for the gun club that I belong to. We have 5 cases of CCI standard velocity ammo, sold only by the case (5000 rds) 380.00 out the door no tax, pick up at Ben Avery. If interested PM me and I will put you with the person with the ammo. Leave a message of a PM sent, I don't get a email notification of them.

Memorial Day is indeed a day set aside for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, however the way I see it any day is a good day to thank our service guys past and present. I personally want to thank my fellow vets for your service. IMHO anyone that has thrown on a uniform of some sorts and a pair of boots, has given up something.

Snopes says it isn't so, but it is interesting about the story of how Black Jack Pershing handled the Muslims when he was the Governor of the Philippines.

I think our daughters are safe around this guy. There was a guy that PBS did a documentary on that thought he was a Bear whisper, at some point in time they found his bloody tennis shoes, but nothing else.

My best guess is a Corn Snake. Saw it yesterday when I was leaving the Globe-Miami Gun Club, where the pavement starts.
