I had a lucky hunting t-shirt featuring Larry Bird. Upon finding no paper in my backpack, I was given a choice between the t-shirt and my map. Still have the map. Haven't had the same luck without the t-shirt.

Thanks azsugarbear, O'Connor was a big fan of Bill Sukalle barells, he had a shop on Washington and about 13th st. I've seen two of them and they were well marked. Benchrest shooters have been playing with gain twist barrels recently, don't know if they have had any luck with them.

In my Airborne class book there is a section in the back that briefly discusses different Airborne units. I imagine that some of the things that happened while you were a child probably were not pleasant, but if anyone hasn't ever said it before, your Dad was Hardcore!

Old Fart here too! My personal thoughts are if your not spending so much time at a range shooting at those kind of distances that you are getting your mail delivered there, you shouldn't be taking a shot at a game animal at those kind of distances. But times have changed.

Way back then the US didn't understand/ did nothing about terrisom. In 1980 I was in Italy for a NATO exercise, every Italian barracks had a M-60 machine gun placement in front of it, locked and loaded. Pulled into the GF's house just about dark one evening and there was a Bobcat on one of her waterers. Looked to be a medium sized cat, haven't seen it since but the bunny and quail population has thinned alittle bit. Not really a predator guy, what would be the best way to say adios to this cat? She lives in Cave Creek desert type area, has neighbors but not right on top of her.
