PM sent.

Never heard of any, if brass is just having the shoulder bumped back two thousands, it will last along time. Usually the neck will split on them first.

Great write up! It would be my guess that most misses on a Coues Deer are shot over them, at least mine have been.

Watch Where You Step - The Aftermath / How to Skin That Snake
10Turkeys replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
When I kill one the head is separated from the body and then buried, don't want me or anyone else bit from a snake alive or dead. -
Question would be, would you shoot him?
-
I guess nobody bothered to tell him live by sword die by sword.

Don't know of a local gunsmith, but Briley in Houston, Tx specialize in such things. There has to be some meat at the end of the barrel for them to do it though.

Rifle is sold pending funds.

Got a hunt number 1143, Nov 36B, but no tag number.

Right now toss up between 700 Rem ADL 30-06, and a Winchester 70 .270,might pick up something else before then.
-
.260 is SPF.

Shot this target this am, had three rounds and I pulled the last shot, this rifle will shoot.
-
I've had two ask about the .260 that didn't go past do you still have it. I'll sell the rifle for 450.00 as she sits, for 475.00, I'll throw in 50 pieces of brass and a two die RCBS set for it. Disclaimer, the rifle and the brass I have on hand. The dies I will have to ship or deliver to you later.

It is my firm believe that all politicians should do two terms. One in office the other in prison.

Parrita58, Take a look at the Leupold FX3 scopes they were made for silhouette. 25 and 30 power with a 3/8ths or 1/2 min dot. I have a 30x 3/8ths dot on my HP rifle.

I remember the first time I saw one of these. My Aunt was working in Columbus, Ohio on a side of town that wasn't to friendly. Any way my Uncle was telling my Dad that he picked up a .22 to put in my Aunts car, he pulled it out and there it was a 66 in Mohawk Brown. I was about 10 at the time this was probably about 65-66. I think this pretty much started the plastic stock thing.

These were going for around 169.00. The American Rifleman wrote a article on them and they shot up to 300.00, that's what I gave for mine. The 66 loads from the butt plate. The ones with the clip/mag are a Nylon 77. What a fun gun to shoot.
