Mine updated yesterday with my current bonus points after the draw. 28 antelope points for next year!
-
27 didn’t get me that tag this year. how was that hunt? I had a buddy on that hunt, so I’m curious to hear a 2nd opinion.
-
You had “2 points”
-
Or 25 or 26 or 32 or 33 hahaha
-
Looks like 5B and 6B were the only ones he couldn’t have drawn. According to gohunt.
-
4a and 4b were both 100% at 27 last year, doubt they jumped 2 points in one year.
-
I’m a bow hunter first, but with this many point I’ll hold out for a rifle tag. Tried to get an archery tag for a lot of those points.
-
Thanks for the info.....and thanks for letting me know what my 27 are worth, jackshit hahaha
-
Thought it was 29...and I thought there were less than 5 guys with that many.
-
I didn’t think that would be possible
-
27 points for me...wasn’t enough this go around. Buddy of mine with ZERO points, no loyalty or hunter safety drew a unit 10 rifle tag though....gotta love the randomness<———- sarcasm if you couldn’t tell.

It’s a FACT that more people with a few points than those with 20 draw every year. There are far more people with 0-10 points than there are people with 20-28 points. The way the draw is set up favors the random rounds not the bonus pass round.

Not sure just throwing it out there. It’s a clear violation of their own policy. As far as I know there’s no way of knowing who would be next in line, probably by design. But this would not be fair the the person that should have received the tag. I would argue that in the future maybe game and fish should notify the next 10 people in line for every hunt that they may be given the opportunity to receive a tag should tags get point guarded. That would give people the time to think about it, request the time off to “reserve” it, scout, etc....

Now this I would think, would open them up to some legal issues. That would be going against their draw process. It clearly states that declined cards are just that, declined. While I agree, they screwed the pooch not running cards immediately after the last update, calling declined cards would be a violation of their own rule.

Cough cough.....no ones does.....cough cough

From a guy who runs one of the FB pages here locally....he has been right on a few things so far, that’s the only reason I’m giving him any credit.
-
Won’t believe that until I see a screenshot, no offense.
-
Word on the street is they had to run cards in batches due to whatever the issue has been. Supposedly at 5 o’clock they had run 70% of all the cards and stopped… Because government. They will continue to run cards tomorrow until they are finished.
-
Nah...next,next,next,next,next year....if he has my luck....27 and still no tag hahahaha
-
Ya man...years passed it would have been over after the first cc look. This year...who knows!! Had a buddy get a card hit for his wife for elk...30 mins later he got another hit for antelope. The elk tag is my wife’s, her first ever hunt! So stoked!
-
Well suck me sideways....just got hit for elk!!!
-
Looks like it takes more than 12 points for archery 1 bull and more than 27 for 5B antelope.

Can’t accept “applications by mail” if nobody knows what hunts are leftover, therefore they will miss this deadline by not notifying people what hunts can be applied for. But I agree, it will be a very small number.
