  4. So here's what I mean by that, I've driven a truck my whole life. And now I'm wondering do you really even need a truck to hunt? Or if you do, do you need a four-wheel-drive? My thinking is wouldn't an SUV with decent ground clearance towing a trailer with a side-by-side on it. Work just as well? Or even a 2 WD truck just to save on the initial cost and gas mileage. I figure if you're towing a trailer with a Ranger on it, if you get a trailer a little longer than you need that would make up for the truck bed space. And if it's your drive around town vehicle you're going to save on gas mileage and expense of tires etc. etc.. If you need the four-wheel-drive to get into a hunting area you could always detach the trailer hook the side-by-side up to the trailer load your gear on the trailer and keep going as far in as you need to go right? Just something I've been thinking about and wondering how many guys hunt out of an SUV or 2 WD truck. I can only think of maybe four or five times where I actually needed four-wheel-drive. Now yes it's always better to have it and not need it than it is to need it and not have it. But is it necessary? Just curious.

    Family Strengths

Hello everyone I've been a member on this website since 2005 and I can't believe today is the first time I ever opened this thread. A little about myself I'm 34 years old born and raised in Arizona and I've been hunting since I was eight years old. I'm a full-time EMT at a surgical rehab facility and I am also a licensed realtor. If anybody is looking to buy or sell a home I would love to sit down and meet with you and talk about your options. I know it's getting hot outside and the last thing most people want to do is go in and out of 100 homes looking for their next home to buy. But this can be a great time to get a great deal on a great house. Let me know if I can be of any assistance in anyway! Cody Smith Realtor Coldwell Banker Trails and Paths 602-999-7684

In need of an auto a/c shop

Does anyone have any recommendations for an HONEST AC repair shop? My wife's 2012 Nissan Murano started blowing hot air on the way home from Payson yesterday. I'd like to get it looked at as soon as possible. Preferably in the east valley, we live in Gilbert. Thanks.

Clutch went bad on the compressor. Of course you can't buy and replace just the clutch, you have to buy a whole new compressor. Sucks to do on a vehicle that's less than 4 years old and has less than 55k miles on it! On a side note a member on here "TAC" was a big help, I highly recommend reaching out to him if you need any car repairs!

Thanks for the recommendations guys, I have an appointment this afternoon at a different shop. If I don't like what they have to say I'll look into one of your recommendations.

    Viper pst question

I recently purchased a vortex Viper PST 6 to 24 x 50 rifle scope. This is the first scope with a turret I have ever owned so everything is new to me. I plan on going to the range to sight it in tomorrow. My question is, from watching videos and reading it looks like if I want a 200 yard zero I zero it at 200 yards then take off the windage cap, put the shims in and put the cap back on on zero. That will be a 200 yard zero correct? So my question is if I want to shoot at something that's 300 yards away do I dial the turret to 1 meaning at zero it's 200 yards and if I dial to 1 it should be equal 300 yards? I hope that makes sense. Like I said this is all very new to me.

    Vortex Viper PST

Easy guy to work with....I was gonna snag it until I found out it was SFP. Free bump!
  12. I've recently been looking into long-range shooting. And I should have a gun and scope combination put together by the end of next month. I know reloading is a key component to long-range shooting but I don't have any reloading equipment yet. I was wondering if anyone on here has ever developed loads for someone and then sold them? The caliber is a 300 Winchester Magnum in a savage long range hunter. I would like maybe four or five different loads worked up to see which one shoots the best and then maybe purchase the loads 100 at a time. And also be given load development data if I decide to reload down the road. Does anyone on here do that or know anyone that would do something like that here in the valley? I live in Gilbert. I would like to give my money to a Coues Whitetail member rather than buy a bunch of factory loads, not to mention get a higher quality product. Thanks.

*SOLD*6-24x50mm Viper Vortex PST FFP EBR-1 MOA

I've been thinking about getting one of these in this magnification, but have heard it's not great above 12x. Curious as to why you are selling it or trade for a lower magnification?

    Just want to vent

It would not take away their precious revenue if the rules stated that after you draw during your 3 year wait you still have to purchase a bogus point in order to be put back on the draw on year 4. They would still collect all that money and issue the same amount of tags.

    Just want to vent

Alright I am not going to do all the math cause it would take a while and most people wouldn't read it anyway. But you are wrong. Think of it this way, for the antelope hunt I drew two years ago there were 6 tags and almost 1,000 applicants. So if you excluded 3 years of tag holders from the draw the pool would be 982 applicants instead of 1,000. Statistically not much changed. Ok so I guess I did do a little math but hopefully everyone follows. ^^^^that's the exception, not the rule. Most hunts have more than 6 tags.

    Just want to vent

I've been saying the same thing for years! 23 actually....the number of bogus points I have for antelope. The main backlash I hear is "but atleast the way it is now I have a chance to draw every year."

When you say just got hit, had you looked this morning and then looked back and saw a new hit? Can you tell I'm reaching here people!!

    The Hit is ON!!!!

Just because two guys say it's true doesn't make it true but I'll take that at face value. If so is there anybody on here that knows the business of running bulk credit card numbers? My question is how long does it take to run all these credit cards for the tags? One minute,10 minutes a whole day?

    The Hit is ON!!!!

How about an actual screenshot from the Chase app fellas. So far what I've seen looks pretty darn easy to fake.
