I'm looking at some optics from Palmetto State Armory: Firearms, Ammo, Parts and Optics | Palmetto State Armory Does anyone have any negative (or positive) experiences with them? So many shady websites online that I feel a check-in is warranted. Thanks in advance!

I wanted to follow up and confirm that my purchase went through without any issues. Easy transaction, digital communication through shipping, and relatively decent turn around. I apologize for not posting about my experience sooner!

Nice! Congratulations and thanks for sharing with the site.

Yes sir. I’ve been there. Trained in the gym hard before the hunt only to be devastated by the elevation. My lungs couldn’t keep up. Glad it worked out for you. Congrats again!

That's a fantastic Colorado bull! Were you up there long enough to get acclimated to the elevation change? Hiking and packing out at that elevation can be brutal!

Yes. Regardless of when they were conceived/born...they will follow the natural primary rut cycle once they are mature breeding age. I have noticed that if feed isn't good due to dry conditions, they won't come into estrus. If we see late rain activity, like we did this year, this will kick them into second estrus. They will also kick into second estrus if they didn't get bred during the primary cycle. (if conditions are good) This has been my experience closely paying attention all these years. I too have witnessed where the second rut is unbelievable. Unfortunately, this happens on years we don't put in for tags due to bad antler growth.

I have a Marlin lever action with Weaver quick-release rings on a Picatinny rail. (scout scope set-up) It holds POA after removing/reinstalling.

Yes. I would have purchased this if I didn't already have two 270 WSM rifles. -
