How Many Times did you Call Today?
Chef replied to GameHauler's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Technical difficulties here too. Come awn elk tag!!!! -
I really enjoyed your hunt story and loved all the pictures. Thanks for thinking of us while out in the mountains. Pretty cool, all the game you were able to see, especially the sheep.

This post freaking reeks! This topic does not belong here on this forum. It didn't really even stay on course. No one is looking for a fight. If Scotty wanted one, you would have recieved a PM. I re-read all his posts and he specifically says he means no disrespect, yet as Mr Jonathan points out, the gang goes after him. There are a lot of high and mighty people on this site and I don't care if anyone thinks they are better than everyone else. To each their own. If there is one thing that can keep good people apart, it's different religious beliefs. That show "Big love" just documents a real life scenario that, guess what, a ton of people think is the mormon way. Doesn't mean it is but that show isn't helping is it? Lets talk about the good catholic priests that everyone assumes are child molesters too! How about the good muslims that a lot of people think are terrorists! I think these posts do more damage to the way people see mormons than that show ever could. This is the WWW, not everyone will agree with you, that's the way it is. If there is one thing that can keep good people apart, it's different religious beliefs. Hope it doesn't happen here.

http://www.nrahq.org/nrabonus/ We're facing the most anti-gun government we have seen. Just a heads up.

Wider or taller? Which is better?

What did the elk tag go for last year?

I was admiring Scottyboy's recent post on his last African adventure recently. I greatly enjoyed his writing on the hunt, but mostly his play by play picture story. I'm guilty as charged of not always "stopping to smell the roses" and take a picture. I seem to get caught up in the hunt and later regret not taking more photographs. I know how much effort it takes to constantly record the experience and appreciate it immensely when a few like Scott take the time. Between the picture taking and the storytelling, I feel like I'm actually there. Phil Cramer is fantastic at that and actually kicks it up a notch with game cam pics and video! Talk about dedication to the forum! I have indeed stopped on occasion and snapped a pic or two all the while thinking of the forum. I just wanted to thank those that consistently take such great pics, write awesome stories, and share them with us all. The quality of hunt stories on this board has improved tremendously over the years. Keep up the admirable work guys!

Cute kid. Nice to record those events. He might turn out to be a better fisherman than his old man! He'll have his Mom to thank! j/k

That's cool. You do a great job of editing and mixing in the music.

Maybe next time Amanda. Hopefully others can help out but I'll be busy that weekend. I still need to do my part and help you out at one of your booths though.

Whatever you do, don't go off of brand name alone. Ernesto made the most impportant point in this entire thread...that is, manufacturers will make different "grades" of products. I see it time after time, people buy a "BRAND X" because of it's reputation, at a great price. Truth is, they probably purchased a "residential" model which is pure and solid JUNK. Excuse me for being harsh but, I expect things to last a while if I'm paying good money for them. These "category B & C" models are jokes. Spend the extra $ and buy a professional use unit. The same applies to most all handheld power equipment. Trimmers, edgers, etc. The sticker on the unit will tell you if it's a category A,B or C. A 300 hr unit is considered an "A". Look at the sticker, it's hidden in there, believe me.

Good find. Any side views of the fronts?

I've met some pretty nice people from the White Mountain Apache tribe. They do appreciate what they have and know the value of it. I too wish I could hunt on that reservation.

Smokin' deal on the big binos. Do they have the Passport warranty? Is it transferable?

Dude! Looks like you guys put the smack down on the elephants! Good thing you got your B-Day bull too. Nice present to yourself. I can only imagine the feeling of killing TWO bulls in one hour too. "Have you ever seen an elephant in Africa?" "Yeah, I killed three...that's how I roll." Congrats again Buddy!
