    45/4.10 pistol

I believe any pistol chambered to fire a .410 shell is going to be pretty big. May I ask why you are interested in this combo? Are you after the .45 LC or the .410 compatability? Why not a .45 ACP? Or a .44 mag if you want a D Harry? Just wondering if we could steer you in the right direction.

  4. That is very interesting. There is a coues video (I think) that has some bighorn hunting tactics and footage. Anywhoo, they archery hunt the rams and can get by without alarming the sheep by carrying a white "flag" as they crouch and walk along. Whatever works! heck, I step in cow patties to cover up scent, have a turkey diaphram call in my mouth while deer hunting, all to cover up who & what am! Guess I just need to wear a cowbell!

  10. Yes. I go often. It is nice to be around people that like firearm sports and support the second. Sometimes great deals to be had too. I always look for the private sellers.
  11. I got that e-mail too. Thought I was special but guess it was a virus trying to spread. Hope everything is fine now...seems to be.

    Lever guns

I think the 30-30 has the most to gain from this new ammo. I understand your thoughts on open sights and distance but it is nice to know that if something comes out at 175 yards, you can still aim for fur and feel confident of the outcome. That rifle in the video seems to be chambered in 45-70.
  16. Gentleman sitting beside me at the banquet won the 460 at the ADA banquet. Lucky dog.

    ASAT camo

I use ASAT camo. On top of reg. ASAT BDU's I also have the "leafy" suit. Have had it for several years. I wear the top during dove season a lot since it really lets the air through during those hot September days. I am trying out the full body suit this May during turkey season. ASAT works.
  18. Scottyboy, I envy you!! Make sure you mix the tartar sauce with some hot sauce and lemon juice! That's the BEST!! mmmmmmmm.Catfish Cornerrrrrrr.
  19. Yup...and do you like catfish too? At any particular "corner"?

    my 2006 Lion

Congrats man. I'm suprised there is anything left of it after using that caliber! So you generally use a 450 Marlin for coyotes huh?! Hate to ask what you use for elk! Congrats again from a fellow "Marlin Man."

    Bachelor Party!!!

I sure hope the Gonnerhea stayed in Vegas.
  23. The 500 also comes in a shorter barreled version. Might just be the ticket to haul around together with your bow. My advice would be to find a used one. Ammo isn't cheap and the recoil is intolerable for some. That means the used market can find you one on less pennies. We have a 500 long barrel and it is fun to shoot. The Cor Bon ammo is stout but not excessive if you shoot a lot. I have small hands so the hogleg is too big for me but is fun to play with. Open sighted it is surprisingly accurate. I can only imagine what it would shoot like with a scope. Let us know what you end up doing.

    Rhino or Ranger?

Samurai's are the way to go. If you were to put $8k-$9k into one, man, you could go anywhere!
