Family brought us some parboiled octopus from home in Kino Bay. Pan seared in butter with onion & garlic Chimichurri gold potatoes Kiwi and segmented orange salad

Hits have started again. Buddy just got hit two seconds ago for deer. !!!

We will see hits as late as Friday and things may even move into next week. It's a cluster. They've done and screwed up.

It is only a matter of time before we see excitement and witness success stories of happy members drawing tags.

I got hit for crane at approximately 8:54AM today.

Got tired of waiting to draw.

Hand tossed is not the same as brick oven. You can have a pan pizza be brick oven.

I saw on your last kabob post where you had burnt wooden skewers. To deter the skewers from scorching, soak them completely in water for a while before piercing the ingredients.

It’s always a challenge cooking at someone else’s home. Started off the afternoon with Rebujito’s and onto an evening of tapas and gazpacho, set the tone for the grand finale. All to be capped off with lemon sorbet floats. Life is good.

As always, rack of lamb didn’t disappoint.

They are still bloody raw. As it was just a quick smoke.

I took them off the smoke and let them air out a little. I’ll put them in the fridge with plastic wrap on top. it will smoke the fridge a bit, but time will fix that.

I also took the time to run a light smoke on some lamb racks that we are having for dinner tomorrow. I’ll be pan searing them before finishing by basting with butter, garlic, and rosemary. Our friends from Madrid are going to love them.

At the moment, I've got venison brats simmering in beer while waiting for a bed of pecan coals to form on the grill. Here's to Friday nights. 🍺

Definitely have to pay taxes on larger valued raffle winnings. . True Story: Company won a boom truck at an in person/live raffle...re-donated it into and during the live event 10 seconds later. Company had to pay taxes on it. Bummer.
