Hats off to the person filming! Impressive.

Congratulations and thanks so much for contributing your success to the forums! That's a super sweet buck, and to get that footage on film...outstanding! Nice.

Phoenix Shooting Bags makes some super sweet bags. Ultra lightweight and field ready. I love mine! You can check them out by CLICKING HERE. The "TBD" bag is one of those "Why didn't I think of that?!" products. I can roll the top for a firmer bag or unroll for a soft cradle effect while in field positions. Nice.

That buck dropped it like it's hot!

Glad to see your new GSP out there with you on her first hunt Doug!

So what new pack did you buy!

Snow was heavy in a lot of units last year during the late elk hunts. I know of a couple instances where snowmobile access granted trophy opportunities.

Happy Birthday to the both of you and every other member whose Bday is today!

I figured it was high fence being as they were exotics. I was just wondering if it was a large enough ranch where one could spot & stalk, that sort of thing. Even if it was pronghorn style hunting, that's fun for me. Without any tags and the availability to possibly hunt in off season months, this may be entertaining. C'mon Casey lets go!

Is it an actual hunt? If so this may be a fun trip and good way to get some great exotic table fare. Nilgai is supposed to be fantastic eating.

Happens to me up in Cave Creek every time.

Nice. Cute kid. She looks so tiny standing over her first bull! I bet you'll get a kick out of it as she gets bigger. Way to get her out in the field, from the sounds of it she can out hike and scope up game better than most!

Way to go guys. The big smile on Thomas' face says it all! Congratulations to all and a huge THANK YOU to everyone that answered the call to help get this youngster a buck! -
Congratulations Carson!!

That thing is SOLID! Now you can cover it completely with turquoise. Congrats again Stan.

I was in 23 this weekend and we had a peep squeak bull bugling steady at camp from 9PM through 3AM.

Feed comes into the equation as well from what I understand. In hot dry years like 2020 the second estrus can make a dream hunt happen. November is pushing the date though.

Love it! Congrats on their success! How many times did they SLAM the truck door?! LOL
-
That's a lot of good eats!
-
Congrats to the both of you!

Field & Stream and Outdoor Life Maybe No longer
Chef replied to Outdoor Writer's topic in The Campfire
Times are definitely changing & many things we took as the norm are quickly becoming obsolete. From a general standpoint, (not exclusive to outdoors) advertisers and vendors are no longer seeing ROI from printed magazines, trade shows, etc. Even radio and TV mediums are different and evolving to stay a float in new markets based on advertisers going elsewhere. As with the likes of Cable TV, they would price gouge their advertisers as well as their customers. Sometimes they get their due. . BTW, did Zumbo ever recover from his comments on black rifles? -
Congratulations to you and Tessa! Man, I can't believe how big everyone's kids are getting. It's been great seeing them grow up through the adventures on here. Great photos, are they taken through a phone?
