I liked it! So you're all good now!

Well deserved Orlin. Heck of a stalk too. You and Jim really put a good plan to work and it paid dividends. Congratulations again my friend.

Congrats again Allen. Talk about making the best about a tough hunt and situation. Hope you start to feel better soon and I wouldn't be surprised if you draw that tag again next year!

. . http://azgfd.net/art...cognition.shtml Eddie Corona has been nominated for and is in the running for the "Mentor of the Year" award from the North American Hunting Club. As we all know, Eddie has been a long time advocate of hunting and fishing. He is a true gentleman and sportsman having all the great values that are needed to be a mentor. His selfless donation of his time and resources to help bring joy to those in need is remarkable to say the least. Eddie and Chris Denham founded Outdoor Experience 4 All several years back. We here at Coueswhitetail.com have attended and donated to the annual fundraising banquets since their induction and are fortunate to know these two great guys. With that said, take a little time out of your day to vote for (and often!) for Eddie Corona and with your help, he just might get a little "Thank You" that he deserves. Here is the link to go vote. I think you hit "view full bio" and vote from there... http://www.nahcmentor.com/ Thanks All!

That buck is even more impressive hard horned. Anyone with a tag will do well by contacting Gino. He definitely has a score to settle with this buck and a lucky hunter may get to ground check him. Wish I had that tag. -
Great great great story and buck! This is absolutely awesome and why this site rocks! I know how grueling it can be by yourself hunting in the high country. For you to take a buck of that caliber after many days of hitting it hard is just plain phenominal. Well deserved. You also did a stupendous job of documenting your hunt with self taken pics. I too know how much of a pain in the rear that can be. Getting set up, running back and forth between shots...brutal! Good job and a big time congratulations!

Definitely well earned! Talk about a plan coming together! Congratulations and it doesn't get much better than having a few friends share with the packout.
-
Much congratulations to you and your daughter! That's a heck of a great first buck!

Awesome! Congrats again and way to get it done my man!

Crazy stuff with the lion and that bear! Congrats on your neat buck and best of luck finding that bruiser on your trailcam!! -
Very nice! My first bull elk and one of the biggest typical mule deer I have ever seen was on Missionary Ridge just N of Durango. Gorgeous area and it looks like you were roughin it in that cabin! Thanks for sharing.
-
Thanks guys! I know Eddie appreciates the nomination. He's actually out on a muzzy elk hunt right now helping a youngster tag a bull with OE4A. *bump and vote for the day!
