So I have to vacuum out my smoker to make it work? I’ve gone from pure wood to charcoal and homemade chips to propane and home made chips to this pellet grill. Cooks good but dang. I guess age and convenience has caught up to me.

These are the rib roasts that go on sale around Christmas time. I cut them myself. Oh, and I had to look up Spinalis Dorsi haha!

I make it at home when time allows. Use a spice/coffee bean grinder. I’ll only do a pound or two since it’s pretty time intensive. The grinder gums up often due to the sugar content in the flour. When you use it, cut the amount of sugar in the recipe about a fourth or so.

Very little for us outside of benson. Seems like it’s going around us every day.

Breakfast this morning.

I smoked some green chile Mac n cheese and turkey breast today. Came out really good!!! The brisket I smoked took second to the turkey!

dang! We woulda showed up for that one!! Well I would have, ole lady has a shell fish allergy. Looks great buddy!

I’ve had Wyze cams for almost 5 years now and like them. They’ll last a few years then die out but cheap to replace.

Trying to beat the possible storm coming but the weather is so nice and cool compared to the past month! Fajitas with Brazilian steak house seasoning and the “cook it your self” raw tortillas.

And today I ground up some elk with the shoulder trimmings for burgers.

Broke down a Chuck roll yesterday and had these steaks last night.

From the Tucson area. Have 4 days to get there. Two days of training in wheatridge and 3 days to get back. The way back will be I-25 and the I-10 which are a very boring drive. The way there is where I need some help. I’ve never had the time for a pleasure drive before. Debating the Moab route, thru the mountains a couple ways, or up thru New Mexico. What’s a cool stopping point? Motel? Lake to fish? Just trying to make it a fun trip getting there. Thanks.

Funny, we had mama’s over Mother’s Day and it was horrible! Normally it’s really good. Not sure what’s happening anymore with any of these places.
