I stopped using mine since I was always hot! Use my sportsman 2 man with a quilt made in the 50’s. If I’m hot, I dump the quilt. Slept that way in a tent with a small buddy heater down to -10.

What temp? I did 225 and pulled when I needed to, no necessarily when it was ready. I would think 20-24 would be too much? What’s your method?

It was 208-210 when I pulled it.

Successfully cooked a butt on it, 14.5 hours and no error codes! Happy with the results but it coulda done an hour or two longer.

When I first started reading this I thought the house cats finally killed that one annoying cricket that starts up just about bed time.

Long story short, totaled my truck about 3 weeks ago, don’t think it was my fault but the insurance companies are arguing that right now. I’m physically not too broken up from what the docs tell me, will find out more in the next few weeks. Question…. They gave me an offer on pay out that I can live with. I was expecting a few grand more but wasn’t counting on it. Any tips for asking for more?
