This month has been hard, wife’s birthday, our anniversary, and 6 month anniversary of her passing was yesterday. I’m getting stronger and more leathery with every passing milestone. Today I decided it’s time to get back to meal prep. I started it last spring and dropped 50lbs by last years elk hunt. Currently I’ve gained that back and then some. Not easy being forced into the single life! Fast food is food and easy when you throw yourself into work to forget. Anyways, today I made lunch for the week... breakfast is oatmeal with dehydrated cranberries, cherries, and blueberries. Topped with cinnamon. Lunch is Frank’s red hot marinated chicken breast with broccoli and sweet potato. Haven’t been eating supper for awhile but I’ll figure that out.

Shoot one round an hour or one round when the barrel cools. It may take a day or a week but if your shooting factory ammo and the cold bore shot is what counts, you’ll want an average of cold bore shots.

I’ve had mine in the soft case for years and never thought about it. It’s heavy enough as it is. A plywood box would make it even heavier. Is there a reason your soft case isn’t working? Maybe build a exo-skeleton that’s attached?

I believe all 209’s are made for shot gun? Although the same primers work and are recommended for inline muzzleloaders. I’ve always used CCI and federal. CCI work best in my rifle. Yours may be different.

40 psi. I live on a road that some would consider a “hunting” road. I also go on rougher roads. I never “air down”! 40 psi makes for a rougher ride from some but it’s what I’m used to.
