Not much ash, don't use the colored pages and you won't gunk up your stove pipe. Almost an hour a log, how long do you want it to burn? It's comparable to juniper -
I can tell you alot. Tell him to clean than dang dirty gun again!!! And then again once more! Maybe you'll see the whole serial number once all the gunk is off of it.

2014: Unit 1 archery or Unit 3B early muzzleloader?
muledeerarea33? replied to Umpqua's topic in Elk Hunting
Do both if the time and money isn't an issue. If it is, I'd choose unit one. -

I've made them before and added saw dust to the paper. A few sections of 6" PVC pipe cut length wise 60/40 split, capped on one end and held together with hose clamps. It's a bit cheaper and gets the same results. They burn around 45 min as Curtis said. -
At Luna lake when I was about 9. I was to busy trying to catch chipmunks in the rocks and had my pole drug in the water and lost. We saw it bubbling about 50 feet from the dang. My dad was pissed that I wasn't paying attention haha!! My pole was weighed down with about 20 pounds of rocks.

I'm happy for the hunter, very nice trophy and mount! But sad that a very rare animal has been taken out of the woods. Congrats to the hunter! -

Hahaha!!! I don't think ole 25-06 has been to the mountains in 10 years!!!! Although that desert boy has an elk hunt coming up, we've been cutting mesquite and juniper with our stihls before with no problems, the ole man that we cut for had an echo and cut right there with us. I love both my stihl saws but can't say another brand ain't good too, just never owned another brand. 3rd generation stihl owner here.

every time I've been there I've woken to a house critter, making noise or crawling on my bed! It comes with the territory I guess. Powers garden is a good hike away but man it's a nice hike!! Plan on eatin some if your meat if you kill!!!
