    Zeiss tripod adapter?

I'd love to buy Swarovski!! If I had the money. The Zeiss were a Christmas present.

    Zeiss tripod adapter?

I own 10x56 victory fl Zeiss binos. The tripod adapter is 200 bucks. I've had them a few years and have got by just resting them on the tripod top plate. Recently I took a spring clamp and a vortex tripod adapter, drilled and tapped the adapter and used a screw to hold it to the clamp. The clamp goes around the right barrel and holds it snug. My questions are.... Is it to snug? How much pressure can the barrel take, and has anyone came up with something better? I'm about ready to try to trade for some vortex 15x56. Great glass but I hate to blow the 200 bucks for a Velcro strap system.

    200+Typical Archery Mulie from 36A

he's not a bad kid. He lives to hunt and does a pretty good job at it. He does feed off of the comments of people and speaks his mind about situations posted on this site (lots of others do too) he also defends himself when others say something negative about him. He does need to learn how to be a bit less abrasive with his responses but overall I don't see any reason to kick him off a website for being honest, blunt, and truthful.

    Zeiss tripod adapter?

That looks very similar to the Zeiss set up. I'll look into it, thanks bud.

    Zeiss tripod adapter?

You saying the wood/Velcro setup is part of the adapter and you just strap the binos around both barrels in the center(forward of the adjustment knob?) and it's stable and secure? Wish I knew how to post pics of my homemade setup.

    6" lift

+1 a little much and too many chances of breakage, wheel bearing, ball joints, cv issues, etc. just my opinion from fixing lots and lots of lifted trucks.

    100% on-line applications

I like the paper mostly because I am paid in full from the get go. Something may come up around draw time that requires me to use the set aside money for tag fees.

    archery deer limit questions

Some people just can't kill coyotes, They don't kill unless they'll eat it, reminds them of a previous pet, etc. whatever the case may be. Don't Kill them if you don't want to. Also dont complain when your hunting area has less deer year after year, your cats and dogs come up missing, and your bored on an off season weekend and say you have nothing to do.

    Wolf Bloodline Authenticity

I remember when they first brought them up the mountain. They stopped for gas and we all went out to look into the cages in the back of the trucks. all I'll say is if the first wolves they brought up are pure bread mexican gray, they sure didnt look like any past pictures I'd ever seen.

    Spike Camps

I've set up a main camp by the truck and spike camped a few times. I'm no expert as I usually throw enough stuff in my pack just incase I can't or don't want to make it back to the truck. To be blunt, I usually wake up early, have cofee, breakfast, and a big D!! I'll drink a few liters of water at camp. I'll pack enough jerky and granola to get me back the next day as well as a gallon of water. Usually if I spike camp in October (where I hunt) a very light fleece blanket, a metal cup, and a few packs of Starbucks instant cofee (try it!!) is all I need. I get wore out and tired enough by the night time that I can sleep anywhere.

    Need some advice

Wow!!! Could it be that the young man is smarter than a high percentage of adults. Or could it be Dad and Mom are just teaching him how things are. I would just say to those that think they own their so called spots. Go home and check your legal documents, to see what you have deeds for. And note that if you really want to hunt on what's yours you will probably be hunting in your backyard!!! No one is in their spot 24/7. And first come first serve I thought was clear as mud. Get over it and have a back up plan. Or go back to camp or the computer and continue to whine about it. While others are enjoying hunting. Take care, Willie For a snot nosed little punk, he aint that bad of a kid. well, not much of a kid anymore

    stratify hunts

Like outdoor writer said.. Twice the hunts with the tags split between the two doesn't increase draw odds. It no different than having the same hunt and same tag amounts. If you cut two apples in half, you still have two apples!

    stratify hunts

Again, thanks for clearing it up for me. I suppose my question now is why do they rotate the minimal # of rifle tags between the units but still give out lots of archery tags every year for every unit mentioned?
  23. muledeerarea33?

    stratify hunts

I didn't know that? Thanks for clearing it up for me. If I remember right (probably not) I have put in for early 27 and unit 1 in the past. My only 3 choices anymore are 1 or 27 1st and 2nd and 3b muzzle loader 3rd. I always remember having 3 choices on my app until this years draw I only put 2 choices because 27 wasn't an option.

    Lost bull 4b?

The real trophy is the hunt itself, second is the freezer full of meat, third is the tasteless antlers. As stated earlier, If I made a bad shot and stuck with it for days on end I'd be proud to hang the antlers. If I had a tag and found a huge bull that had been shot and was rotten I wouldn't even think of cutting the head off and sticking a tag on it! That ain't hunting.
  25. muledeerarea33?

    Lost bull 4b?

are you saying if you make a bad shot, look for 4 days and find it, is it yours? Or are you saying if someone else shoots it and Joe Schmo finds it 4 days later and claims it? I'd be proud to hang a trophy on my wall that I shot and found 4 days later. I'd be sick as heck if I lost the meat, most would be.
