I can give you the name of the publishing company for the Clifton/morenci book. I wasn't involved in that one other than owning a copy but it looks like its put together well.

My mom calls the sheep "morenci rats" lol they are everywhere around there.

The website said their using a hammer mill.

Questions.... You remove the seeds and grind the rest? What are you using to grind and does it come out like a meal or a flour? I've been curious about native plant species for awhile, just to lazy to get into it. I read today a company in Tucson will mill the whole bean for $2 a pound. I'd like to make jack rabbit burgers with mesquite flour buns lol.

5 boxes of Remington 6 1/2 small rifle primers
muledeerarea33? replied to Big Browns's topic in Classified Ads
I guess I should say IMHO first off to avoid legal ramafacations but 6 1/2's work good as a small pistol primer too. -
Scaled and gambles quail mix?
muledeerarea33? posted a topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I started feeding and watering the birds around the house and have been getting lots of quail since January. They would come in pairs, and have babies. The last two pairs I had were one gambles pair and one scaled pair. Then it seems like they swapped partners? Do the two only breed with like quail or will they mix? I've found a nest with eggs so I'm waiting to see when they hatch. -
Wheat field (wheat villl?) right before the hill to the lake. Good food and music there. Never had any trouble.

Growing up in a small town and never having to worry about cameras or anything else I decided to leave in the woods til I returned, I'd say put it up, hope the guy with the other one is upstanding and doesn't mess with it. Now.... Since I moved around the Tucson hunting units (and all units have become more popular with a holes) is say hide the dang thing on the best trail going to the water, sit the hill tops around it as much as you can to catch activity and become very wary of everyone. I hate to say that cause I've met some good upstanding folks who lived their entire lives in a city and were hunters but, I've met alot more who weren't and would steal you blind if they had the chance. Setting a camera is a casino game, I've never had one stolen but I can only get a black jack so many hands before I bust.

I though my work IT dept. blocked the site lol.

Most shops will install customer supplied parts, they just won't warranty any labor or parts in most cases

Extended stay America is cheap and like a studio apartment. It doesn't have the amenities like the others mentioned but it's cheap and comfy.

I have the big green Coleman one from Walmart. It held 6 days of ice many times for a year or so. Then I took a group out.... People sitting on it, not respecting what it's there for, etc. now the lid is cracking and I get 3 days max from it.

I kinda like the arrow tree. Not sure how long it's been "the arrow tree" but I put one in it about 15 years ago. Last time I was there, there wasn't any trash around it. Not sure now though? Never heard of the shoe tree til today.

Wireless trail camera question....prior to opener.
muledeerarea33? replied to Bitter24's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I hear its worth the money as long as you get cell reception where it's at and as long as you hide it well enough so it's not stolen. -
So it would be 1 chance per applicant (2) plus 1 total bonus point (rounded up from .5) equaling 3 total points for the app? Flatlander, are you saying 4 points total or 3?

When I'm home in the daylight I'll post some pictures of our guesthouse closet. The wife and I are living in it til I can finish building our main house and yes, she's pissed she has to unlock the homemade steel door of our only closet to get to her clothes haha. I used channel steel for a door frame, square tubing and expansion metal for the door. Double 5/8 drywall on the walls for extra fire protection, and just hunt everything on metal shelves and hooks. The closet is 9x5, big enough to be a closet and gun cabinet. The only thing I wish I had done was tie expansion metal between the drywall layers, incase someone tried to cut into a wall.

If you have an unused closet and welding skills, you can build a real nice set up that's insurance approved. Not fire safe totally but dang near theft proof as good as a cabinet.

If I read it correctly..... 2 applicants on one application. One has the hunter Ed bonus point and the other doesn't. Will that round up to 1 point, thus giving 3 total points for the app?

Numbers have dropped the past 10-12 years partly due to lack of rain. And lack of water being pumped by a handful of ranches that have quit running heard sizes of years past. Land restrictions also come into play but my opinion it's mostly due to lack of replenished rain/snow water and the new found popularity of the area in the past 10 or so years

27 still holds big mulies if you go to the obscure locations people won't or don't go, I know of two 4 point bucks with 29" and 31" spreads taken last year in areas of 27 you'd never think of finding them. It's a great unit to get away from people and see some deer. In my opinion it's turning into the next "kaibab" type unit, meaning that's its "premium"

I'm sorry I missed it! I love my meat rare like that!!!!
