Federal Judge dismisses lawsuit against Rosemont Copper
muledeerarea33? replied to AZLance's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I probably recyle more metal every month than you can dream of. not because i want to save the planet but because there is good money in it and if i didnt recyle the stuff it would end up in the dump or even worse, someone else would get the cash from it. and you probably didnt know, alot of recycled copper and whatnot ends up at the dang copper mines who intern recycle it into useful products. Dont dare talk to me about reusing metals, I may not do it for the "green enviro" reasons you do it for but none the less I do my part pal. i live under no rock but instead live among the rocks, the same rocks that have to be crushed and smeltered inorder for you and i to have the freedom and resources to have our petty debate. take the time, stop and think and wonder, where does everything that you use on a daily basis come from??? if you want to be dependent soley on foreign natural resources because they aint comin from "your backyard" then i feel very sorry for you, I really do. -
Federal Judge dismisses lawsuit against Rosemont Copper

If it were a dang shopping mall on I-10 and the 83 exit, with a walmart and a bunch of restauraunts, a harkins theater, and a car dealership that combined provided 4-500 jobs would it make you "non mine supporters" happy? the point being, the mine will happen no matter how much you bitch about it, how much you claim there are endangered toads, snails, or what the f%ck ever on your precius hunting land. find another place to hunt or work around the dang mine, quit whining about it and accept that it is going to happen. I grew up with a copper mine supporting my livelyhood so I am very biased on this subject. Like I have said in previous threads, If you dont want the mine, quit driving your car, rip the copper wiring out of your house, (including your solar panels) shoot pure lead bullets and recycle your computer cause it all has copper in it. The mineral has to come from somewhere, your back yard or someone elses, quit bitchin and shut the heck up!!! ok time to get all the negative feedback marks on my profile, I dont give a sh!t. this site used to be 100% awesome, the past year or so, it's nothin but a bunch of cry babies. Go home, shut up and let the adults figure out what to do cause obviusly your too much of an idiot to understand the real world. p.s. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. let the fight begin!!! -
So me and my dad wanted binoc's for christmas last year, hopin for swaro 15x56 but got zeiss 10x56. low light they are like night vision and very very clear, I love them. I wanted/want 15's. they were (at the time around $2000 OR so) I'm not sure if i should trade them for swaro 15x56 or just go buy a pair of vortex 15x56? ( can't attord swarro's) I love what i got as a gift for free but i just need more power cause my eyes with glasses suck. and the tripod adapter for zeiss is like 200 bucks!!!

I used to carry a glock 21 45 (pistol i ever bought) then it was stolen by some peice of &*it a$$ hole w#t Ba%k commie Bast*rd, My bask up is my dan wesson 1911. Beautiful expensive gun but accurate as anything. i like the ruger p89. its cheap and reliable. (I have 2) but as lark said, a 22 mag will drop whatever u want if u hit it right. I've said it in other posts and will say it again, lets stand 200 yards away, you with a 45, 9mm 40 cal, 357, 38, and me with whatever, and shoot eachother. BOTH OF US WILL DIE!!! its about how you shoot your gun. -
I have zeiss 10x56

Wow, thanks for replying guys. I had forgotten about this post. The clarity at night from my zeiss are second to none, i glassed elk at 5 am when my cousin had a hard time seeing with night vision. my prolbem is with my eye balls, glasses with bad astigmatisum. I've learned over the years the more expensive the glass, the better I can see. In other posts I have seen how the vortex compare to the swaro pretty close and how glasses wear's see better out of vortex? I dont live near a store that sells both for an evening comparison. -
dang i wish I wasn't fat and broke. that looks so fun!!!

bill's correct, I shot mine on a turner ranch. I was not wild but did provide somewhat of a challenge (killed in one day though) I used a pistol to hunt mine, knowing i wanted to make it more of a challenge. the meat was great, the mount is neat to have, and it was way cheaper than a "draw" hunt. You'll have fun either way and it's a heck of a rush watchin an animal like that.

Economic impact of mining on forum members
muledeerarea33? replied to Pine Donkey's topic in The Campfire
I said almost the same dang thing in another similar topic on this site, and got a -1 on my reputation for sayin it. There are alot of big game animals on the tailings and mine property in morenci, I grew up looking at that mine everyday and never once did it affect my abitlity or acess to hunt. What it did do?? feed me, clothe me, support me, put me thru school, give me a good life, and lots of oppurtinuties. If you dont support mining or dont want it in your backyard then quit driving your vehicle, rip the wire from your walls, recycle your computer, and throw your phone away cause you dont deserve to use the "mined" product that goes into every aspect of your daily life. -

Santa Rita Copper Mine
muledeerarea33? replied to couesbowhunter1's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
ask anyone who works in Morenci at the mine, Alot of wildlife call mine property home. You can't hunt it but animals are there. I'm sure it will displace some wildlife for sure but it has a way of balancing out. -
I bought my wife a 243 770 for her first cow elk hunt, used for chaep cause she couldnt shoot my 06. she shot beer cans at 350 yards and loves her gun to death. BECAUSE IT'S HERS. cheap gun as it is, she loves it to death and is deadly with it. Didnt kill and elk but had we seen any. she would have.

If you can't handle the gun your shooting, get a smaller caliber. i despise being next to a guy with a break. Especially when he's shootin a 243-300 and has a break. Really?? If you can't handle that much gun 1. your a small woman 2. you have an old injury (like Lark) other than that, you dont need a break.

Hope i can be as vague as possible with this, bout 6 years ago when the wife and i were still dating we went up to my parents place who live in the middle of 27. i took her out to a place that i used to do alot of varmint calling when i lived there growing up. So, i was blowing on the woodpecker call for awhile and just before dusk i stopped, the sunset was beautiful, the moment was right, we were dating, so, we did what most couples might of done in that situation on the bench seat of the truck. No, i am not going to mention what we were doing both truck doors were open, well half way thru "the deed" a big ole fox ran up the ridge and just stared at us with a wtf? look I manuvered away as fast as I could, grabbed my rifle, the whole time the wife had no idea what was goin on, I shot the fox that was now about 50 yards from us, went and got him happy as heck. needless to say I didnt get to finish what we had started and she was pissed. but it was worth it

.30-06 vs .270 vs .308: What do you like and why
muledeerarea33? replied to Airbusdriver's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
if you and I stood 300 yards apart one has an 06 and the other one has a 270, neither one of us will be alive to compare the results. both are great rounds and both guns will outshoot most people behind the stock (me included), I own both and have no complaints. heck I've seen elk dropped with a 243 no prolbem. I shot a bison with a 454 casull hand gun, depends on where you hit em. -
