I saw one shot at a milk jug at about 10 yards and only 3 of the pellets hit the jug went in one side and never came out. My mom wanted one for a defense gun for sometime but after seeing that I bought her a 45 Auto for mothers day instead. oh and they were using good Winchester and not the target loads.

I am looking for anyone in the Tucson area who can take my house plans from Microsoft Paint and make them all official like for cochise county to approve them so I can start building my house. I am not sure exactly what they need as far as structural engineering but was hoping to be able to sit down with someone who knows what they are doing so I can ask a bunch of questions and get the plans done right. Not looking for any discounts or anything like that I just would rather give my business to a guy on here. Thanks Daniel

thats kinda what I am looking for, someone who can draw it out and work up the engineering or has some one to do that. any one know any one or companies here that does that? As far as the soil tests when I was talking to the county they said that they did not require a soil test for a foundation, only a perk test for the septic. I just want something that has a seal of approval so the county will approve it and i can go to work.

.243 WSSM
muledeerarea33? replied to Browning'sCustomMeat's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I am getting just over 4300 fps out of my .223 wssm with 55 gr v-max. of course I have a 26 inch bull barell with a 1-7 twist. I have heard anything around 80-90 grains fly's good out of the 243 and the 60's are good for varmint. I am using the Berger VLD's in 90 grain out of my short mag for longer distance stuff and so far they seem pretty good and kill small game quick. -
Wel I have found one beleive it or not at the GoodWill here in Tucson for 20 bucks. I dont know how they got ahold of a copy?? thanks everyone and thanks anyway TAM. this sure is a big book

Thanks for all the reply's. We are actually building in Cochise county just north of Benson and they reffrence the 2003 book on the Coshise county website. I guess if I worked from the 2006 book I would be ok? we are planning on being our own general contractors and our own sub-contractors as well. Between my dad, my close friends (or atleast they are now until I start the project ), and myself I think I got the majority of it covered. All I need to sub out is the septic and whatever the power and water company need to do to get utilities to the house. I just have my head spinning trying to talk to the county asking what I think are simply questions and they telling me to "look in the book" I guess they are just covering their own butt's can"t blame them for that. Oh and thanks in advance Terry (25-06) I have officially volanteered you to do my tile work for the low price of a twelve back of Bud and some Buffalo taco's

Forest service and game and fish are also having one up reddington in mid april I will make a post when I get a date -
Nice shooting pistol. I dont think I will be doing any 200 yard shots though like we were talking about
-
I think they should charge the same price as a hunting lic. costs. that would be fair not the 15-20 dolalrs that they are doing

This is an old post. I know have two presses and all the other goodies that go along with it and reload almost every caliber that I have. I took a peice of laminated butcher block about 1 3/4 thick and used 4x4's for the legs. I trimmed it out with 1x6 birch and made some top shelves out of the same birch. It was the second bench that I made since the first one out of plywood and 2x6's wasn't really sturdy. This new table is rock solid even when I am sizing shortmag brass (whoever has one knows about camming over to shorten the kneck).

when you all say a "shoot" just exactly how does that go down? are they ran down with a chopper or a quad to where you are sitting and then you shoot them? or is there a little actual hunting involved?
