Save all your cash from now til the hunt and sell what you don’t need. Ask them nicely for the time off but make it clear that your taking it no matter what. I told my employer that I hunt when I first started 18 years ago they’ve always been good about it except for 1 turkey hunt (had two guys quit the week earlier) so I worked and they felt so bad they paid me double time for the days I would of been hunting. Good jobs are hard to find but at your age I agree with Kevin and greyghost.

Been to lake of the woods before, nice place. Will pry choose them again. Was just looking at other options. 3B muzzy.

I was planning on camping but have some elderly family members who want to go to show support. I’d like a nice place for them to be while we hunt. Also a shower is nice that time of year.

Dodge trucks are the nicest looking on the market. I’ve wanted one for years but haven’t been swayed from gmc yet. My Tacoma used to be my daily driver until I bought the wife an Audi. Now the Tacoma is like my side by side. If I ever buy a 3/4 ton 4x4 for towing and hunting, it’ll be a dodge.

Good series on Netflix that was a 90’s pbs series called “the west” they touch on this and lots of other history. Worth a watch.

And I call my bank every year for every draw. Been doing it since I started putting in with a debit card. I used to hand deliver my app with a money order on the last day.

I’m always scrambling last minute to get everybody’s info!! This year my buddy wanted to be in charge and put everyone in. I’m sure it’ll be fine but I’m still nervous since I’ve done the draw for all of us for the last 10 years or so.
