I’ve heard horror stories from BofA! I’ve been with them 15+ years. They’ve never blocked a charge or multiple charges. I’ve always called ahead to notify them. That said, I’ve been moving away from them financially. Just haven’t done it completely yet.

If they were worried about the interest they’d find a way to change the law and charge up front. I try to hunt units with the lowest tag numbers given and really learn the unit. It’s worked out well. Lots of folks don’t have time for that, and that’s fine. I never saw crowds of disrespectful people til I moved near a city. Now I hunt deer in units close to home and has to relearn my hunting style........ how to avoid hunters.

I think it’s worth being a “nimrod” jump on the “bandwagon” especially if you reload! I do agree that there are cartridges out there that have no point “question looking for an answer” but these days, unless you run the factory, buy at any gun store ammo..... your gonna find gains from oddballs.

Savage .17hmr is deadly accurate! I’ve yet to kill with mine but it groups good with any ammo out to 150 yards.

I always carry a pistol and an extra mag in my pack pack. Not necessarily for illegals but just because I always carry, can’t be over gunned or over cautious but seriously, if that’s all your worried about then you’ll have a horrible hunt! I live and hunt within 50 miles of the border and have only had two encounters. Both were friendly even though one ended up with the arrest/detaining of a large group.
