Congrads on the bull. Did you ever figure out if the photo you took of the live bull was the same one?

Nice Goats and I like how the Swaros get in the photo. I guess you are going to tell us they were taken in Unit 45 . Thats where all the big critters are harvested.

Yea, I'm sure it's more satisfying doing all of the hard work yourself, instead of paying for the inches. But those are some superkingsize bulls, I would love just to see one like that.

Cool story Bass. I once had a cow elk stick her head in my blind and blow snot on me. Her nostrils flared out and eyes bugged out and I thought she was going to tear up the place leaving out of there.

Bass, Let us know what you find out. My friend that was hurt in August had a 7W archery bull tag and the Game and Fish Dept. told him he could not transfer the tag to anyone. That was too bad that would have been a good tag to have this year and he couldn't shoot his bow and couldn't give the tag away.

Shane, Just keep on her about the practice. Also check with local archery shops, alot of times they have a league night that she could shoot. You could have a great father daughter time doing something like that. Good luck and let her have fun doing it.

Yea, why does the one antler on the left have a tint of green canvas on it? Nice sheds. Maybe next time you can send them home in a Fed-Ex package.

I believe Theodore Roosevelt was an environmentalist and look what he done for hunting, fishing, ect. I would consider being one also.

The loyalty point will be similar to having the Hunter Ed point as you will allways have it if you have applied for that species a minimum of 5 years, so its just like having an extra bonus point. Hopefully between that and the 10% non resident quota some of us will get tags next year.

I have also heard coues need to drink water every day. How often do they really need to drink? I know while sitting waterholes I have not seen the same bucks everyday. Seem like they frequent the waterhole every 3rd or 4th day, that is in late summers. What have you noticed with that?

Those are some great photos. I would guess around the mid 180's gross. Course its easier to measure while they are on the ground.
