There is no chart saying how much weight it can hold but you could stand or sit briefly on it..as far a locking capability it is secure when the tailgate is locked. It is unlatched or opened once the tailgate is opened.

I have for sale a Trijicon Accupoint TR24G scope. This scope has the illuminated Green triangle reticle which is ideal for large game hunts or for closer distances such as predator hunting. Selling a set of Four Goodyear Wrangler tires with Kevlar. They are the 275/70/18 tires and the rims are off a 2017 F-350. Tires only have 8000 miles on them. Tires have never been plugged or had any flats. I am asking $800 for them or Best Offer.
