Great!

Cool. The satisfaction of a self-tanned pelt is nice. What does a taxi charge to tan?

What do people do with fox pelts after a fox is skinned? I think that I don't have time at the moment to dry it, unless you tell me its quite easy to get a decent result. Can I freeze the skin until I have a bit more time? Or send it off to somebody or someplace to have the pelt worked on properly? I like to have a nice fox skin or two around the house. Thanks.

About 5100ft. Surprising to me how thick the fur is. No ticks but covered with what I think are fleas.

Two of the little cuties, and when I went looking for the photo, I remembered this javi through the scope shot.

Thanks fellas. I have the pelts in the freezer waiting for me to decide on what to do. I think I need to find a tannery or local taxi to make it nice.

Cool. What model cans will you have out there? -
Anyone planning on hunting with a supressor this year?
rancilio replied to AxisWorks LLC's topic in Other Hunting Gear
firstcoues, answers to those questions will vary quite a bit based on load, and design and quality of suppressor. Most folks find very similar velocities between suppressed and unsuppressed, and find some to no POI shift. Generally, group size is consistent with what the gun shot unsuppressed. The bottom line is that a suppressor should not have negative effects. There are too many "good" cans out there to accept poor performance. -
He's a beauty for sure. What unit?

So after two years, any updates to the question, are ya'll hunting with suppressors? I plan on getting after coyotes with a suppressed .223. I just need to make the time to get out. -
A couple of bucks I saw this morning on a mountain bike ride on Fort Huachuca. It was a quick freehand iphone shot through a pair of 8x32s.

Bummer about the timing. I had a similar situation last year, albeit an archery cow tag. I figure the money goes to the right place and at least we get our points back. I just got back from my year over there, and boy is it good to be back! Good luck and get home soon.

I am an FFL and will do previously owned gun transfers between CWT members for nothing but a smile. The catch is that the buyer needs to come to me in Hereford, and of course I need the weapon to transfer. If I can help, send me an email at quiettimesports@gmail.com. Matt

PJM, where are you? And how much does it weigh? Thanks.

Having spent time in both Safford and Afgh, I find the locals in Safford to have much more favorable personalities. The food is not quite as good though, but the women are easier to talk too in Safford. Considering which area to vacation in, I suppose Safford wins. The opportunity to walk around the Safford area looking for elk edges Afgh off the list.

bluedevil, archery or gun? I came over to see your lab last year. I ended up heading out of town shortly afterwards. I will finally be back late June. Have you been out after local coyotes or cats?
-
Where are you Cav?
-
tom, with that photo will you tell me what the muzzle diameter is? Thanks.

Get a couple soldiers from the fort. I'd guess there are always some responsible young adults looking for a nice place. Maybe put an ad up at the commissary. Where is the house? Will you be staying there as well?

Suppressor.

How to bring about a consistent draw result release date

So if I haven't heard by now, am I out-o-luck? -
That is great. I'd like to find one too.

Uh, might not want to suggest that you would shoot a wolf, at least in AZ. What are the NM laws?

Thanks Mike, I see its an R1, #96323.
