Turns out I am over spined.  Will trade for same arrow and length in 300 spine.

If you are over spined, meaning too stiff of an arrow, you want to go towards a 400 arrow.  300 is more stiff than 340.

The Gold Tip calculator is generally decent.

If you ever get down south and still have these arrows, let me know.

We need to talk about that. That’s a question that I’ve been researching. Why don’t we discuss it when you call me after you receive my approved Form 4? The one I mentioned in the OP that was approved on the 6th was the one you sold me!

Ahha. Great. I’ll tell you what you need to know to make it easy. I generally see forms 1-3wks following approval.

Did that just change in last few years? I assume would just be easier to set up new trust? Would that need to be done each time you wanted to purcha new NFA item?

Anyone recommend a solid person other than Mr. Silencer to set up new trust and purchase from? Preferably Northwest phx?

Ruling 41F in July 2016, changed a few things.  Depending on the verbiage of your trust, it may or may not be easy to remove trustees.  Most trusts that I have seen are written such that removing or adding a trustee is fairly simple.  The trust you send in with a new NFA application should accurately reflect the trustees on the trust at that time.

  3. Yes, all trustees (ATF defined as Responsible Person) must complete a Form 23 (Responsible Person Questionnaire), a photo and 2x fingerprint cards.  Both Individual and trust ownership require CLEO notification, no sign off.  A common technique these days is to remove trustees, except for the settlor (sometimes called original trustee) prior to submitting a new NFA application... or just create a new trust with a single trustee.  Adding trustees, after the approved Form 4 comes back, is between the settlor and whoever is added.  No ATF, FBI, CLEO or anybody needs to be notified.

  4. In the last two months, I have seen both trusts and individual between 6-11mo.  6-9 months ago, individuals were 3-4mo while trusts were 8-10mo.  The caveat is, past wait times do not predict what wait times will be for an application submitted today.  Do not believe anyone that says they know what wait times will be.  I can tell you that submitting an ATF application now, at least gets you in line, and that not submitting an app is a sure way not to get an approval.

I am no wolf expert by any means to discern it between a dog hybrid or an actual Grey but I was surprised I caught what appeared to be a wolf south of I-8.

Looks similar to the dog in the AZGFD regs book. Perhaps the dog in the trail cam pic presents “strangely” because its hind legs are spread so wide and fronts standing on his mouse breakfast.

  6. A bright pink cerakote might be nice.  Until then, the can shows some damage in the blast chamber where it appears that the bullet stopped, but no evidence of catastrophic failure, and no obvious damage to the external tube.  I am guessing that the blue in the blast chamber is vaporized copper.  True damage assessment will be up to TBAC.
For comparison, the first photo is a different TBAC Ultra silencer with only a few rounds through it.
